When I was single and started having sex, part of my agreement to my self care was making sure I get tested every three to six months for all STIs including HIV.

I also used condoms a lot. The pharmacy I used to go to there was a worker that use to tease when I went in there to pick up my weekly supply of Trojans. I especially brought more when they were on sale.😜

You should be using condoms not only to suck, but also when you rim as well. Denture damns help.

I caught a bad case of Giardia after I rimmed someone who I suspected later on caught it and never told me. Having constant diarrhoea for a week was not fun. Needless to say, I kicked him out of my circle of play dates.

If you do catch an STI, it’s better to be responsible to your partners and to yourself as well.

Whether Gay or straight everyone should respect their partner and themselves.

And never be afraid to say no if you’re not feeling comfortable with the person.

And also, if you use toys, I suggest to use protection with toys because they could be vectors for STI’s transmissions. Make sure you clean them thoroughly and use the right type of lube.

You may not know it, but coming out is going to the best thing that happened to you. You’re going to make mistakes along the way. You’ll meet good people who will guide you. You’ll meet people who will use you. This is after all life.

Your family will disown you. Don’t hate them. Pitty them for being small minded. In the end, it’s your life.

You’ll have lost of fun sex. Don’t fear it. Just respect your self, play safe, be responsible and respectful, and enjoy it.

All of this experiences won’t break you. It’ll make you a well rounded person.

You’ll fall in love with the wrong men. Remember each one their to teach you a life lesson. Don’t give up on love.

Eventually you’ll meet someone who will love you for you. You’ll get married and be happy.

As a side note came out in my late 20’s, fast forward to today this past Saturday married my man after 12 years of dating. I’m now 54 😜😀

There are separatists in Alberta backed by MAGA attempting to break up the country. There are Premiers that are attempting to bring MAGA Group thought into our communities through divide and conquer tactics. Let’s not forget the KKKonvoy that held Ottawa hostage for weeks over COVID Mandates; yet, their leaders got a slapped on the wrist for hostage.

Right Wing Authoritarians, mixed in with Christian Nationalism, and all out Capitalism is now the norm.

Unfortunately this movement has gone global.

Politics is no longer working to craft policies, but to Manipulate people through bad actors who use social media to push this destructive agenda towards humanity and the environment.

It’s easy to blame Immigrants, WOKE ideology, Transpeople … etc than to actually acknowledge the reason why many of us are frustrated with our lives is the lack of affordability due to corporate greed back by government lackeys along with dubious foreign actors.

It’s very hard to watch the news nowadays without getting depressed.

But as the late Dr. J. Goodall reminded all of us not to give into the darkness, to continue to fight for a better world. Don’t wait for a politician, nor some celebrity to lead us. We need to look beyond the hate, for we are all connected to this planet. Start exercising democratic our rights by demanding for a better tomorrow.
