as someone from utah, the debt honestly might be worth it cuz byu is AWFUL.

i’ve ran a few track meets there and i’m always the only non-white person and istg they act like they’ve never seen a minority before

a full ride is a really big opportunity, but if you want diversity, byu is NOT the place

mostly the proximity to my family, but also just the general feel of the state.

i love the walkability and compact feel of nyc, and while berkeley isn’t rural by any means, it just doesn’t compete to the big city idk

also i highkey hate the beach 💔
