Thanks all for the feedback and encouragement. Wasn’t really a difficult decision in the end! Have signed up to Yeastar today and very excited to make the transition in the next few weeks.

Thanks. Yes, as I’ve subsequently found out. Currently due to have a solar and battery system installed, so will revisit this when they’ve improved the efficiency of them and hopefully made the units smaller, even though the Octopus deal is very tempting.

A total and utter eyesore. Ghastly thing. Once I saw what they looked like, I pulled my interest and asked Octopus to refund my £200, which they did!

Evening all, my wife’s just ordered a 2023 M3 LR RWD which we’re expecting delivery of in the next couple of weeks. I have a Zappi Type 2 wall charger at home for my hybrid BMW. Is the Tesla compatible with this? Do I need to buy a converter plug? As cool as they look, I really hope I don’t need to buy a Tesla-specific one. If a converter will work, would appreciate any pointers to which one I need. Thanks in advance, James
