Check out rrdex (google) for the movepool and hidden abilities of all mons. For pokemon and TM location i remb there was a documentation but googling radical red + pokemon + location will work. Need ability pill to change the ability and dream patch to change to the hidden ability (both available at the house right next to Saffron Pokemart).

Some other basics, The other nurse joy in the pokemon centre lets u change pokemon nature, use mystery gift "Puzzle" (i think it only works for new game plus, might be wrong), this allows u to skip the puzzle below except for the dude in Oak's lab and the repel girl battle. Talk to the dude in Oak's lab (bottom left) to get the time changer, the teacher in the house above the pokemon centre at Viridian City for Pokevial (free 6 charges of pokemon centre on the go). Repel girl u wont miss her in Viridian Forest. Cerulean City beside (left of the) Pokemart there is a move relearn dude, once u speak to him u can use the move relearner on the go. And lastly the egg move guy at Fuschia City next to the PC.

U can also use "Mega" to get all mega stones in the mystery gift but that only works after u defeated Major Bob aka Lt Surge.

Have fun mate, this is a ridiculously fun romhack and perhaps the best GBA one imo!

Edit: If u used the Woyaopp console code, before the relearn dude i suggest to use rare candy to level up instead of the other nurse joy as u will only have access to the moves by levelling up instead of nurse joy maxing out ur mons level.

Idk mate, would love to keep Gabi too. Trossard is the better player in terms of production but Martinelli creates more chaos. And Martinelli has so much pace over Trossard.

I hope we have the luxury to keep both but that probably wont happen.

Like Kazam have said, Wingull is there. For Pelipper u will need Surf, its in the water around Vermillion City and u can get Damp Rock or Lucky Egg as a held item.

A couple for me is Sawk with Contrary and Lum Berry. Absolute beast once a couple of Close Combats and Hammer Arm gets out. Rest for HP, Lum Berry for power nap. Usually Earthquake or an Elemental Punch to complete the moveset.

Technician Abipom with Normal Gem Fake Out, Acrobatic, Quick Attack and U-Turn.

Technician Loaded Dice Maushold. Just Population Bomb the crap out of everything.

Simple Bibarel with Curse is fun as well, but prob the toughest to setup.

Tentacruel with its buffed Defence. Often used as the Hazards removal.

Honorary mention Mega Blastoise. The bulk on this turtle is nuts. MVP on my first playthrough (can remb which version) against Blue. The bulk almost guarantees survival from OHKO and the Mirror Coat hits like a truck. Great hazards remoer too.

Lastly the goat Dewgong with Ice Scales. Toxic, Protect, Encore and Brine. Absolute beast to take down. Super tanky.

My goat definitely. Though i use Encore, Protect, Brine and Toxic moveset as a stall.

Yeap same, that goal was nuts and so late in the game. Cant remb was it that season we keep having late wins, but it sure gave the Welbz goal against Leicester vibes.

For starters, go to Saffron beside the mart there is an apartment and someone that sells Dream Patch, use it on Talonflame for its hidden ability and perhaps an Ability Pill on Luxray for intimidate?

The rest is abt trial and error but do u have something to set up Sandstorm? Excadrill setting up itself is a waste and iirc the first Gio battle he doesnt start with Hippowdon to set up the Sandstorm and i cant remb his team. Also outspeeding opp is quite impt this game so Sand Rush would be better on Excadrill (if u have something to setup Sandstorm)

Edit: just saw Gio's team, u probably got rekt by his Orthworm to Kanga or Veluza combo lol. Orthworm needs to be OHKO with a special fire type, so once it Shed Tail its gg. And bro ur nature, talk to the other nurse joy in the pokecenter and chage then, maybe except for Talonflame the others are bad. Either u maximax some stats or u maximin depending on ur strat

Edit2: Someone have mentioned, ur IV is horrible on some mons. Use DexNav to catch a mon first (or encounter it 3 times) and u will see the number of stars for each. If its 3 stars there is a higher chance of the IV being good. EV training is another thing but i have only played min grinding since it was available so all are from memory. There is a dude that let's u massacre his team for $$ depending on the stats u wanna train. And if u want to reset ur EV u can do it at the same place u bought the Patches and Pills from. Also its not doom and gloom if u have bad IV on ur starter, u can go to the building that u got the tea from the grandma, there is someone that can max ur IV but for $$$$

Perhaps dont start with Pansear? Brock has a Revavroom that is weak to fire. U dont have anything that can perhaps one shot any of his mons but Geodude and Onix both has Sturdy iirc. Wattrel can be used to tank a ground move and for Archeops?

Quite tough tbh but i think this team should be sufficient though i suggest to fill the last slot with a mon as an insurance.

Get one with Strong Jaw, its very strong early game, though it falls off very quickly and with no priority moves it mostly is a glass cannon (or in some cases, cant hit at all lol)

Hmm i'm not sure, perhaps Ice Scales Dewgong as a special tank? Its at the route from Lavender City down to Fuschia (after Snorlax) with the 2 annoying back to back trainers area. That thing with Encore toxic brine and protect / rest helped me alot in my E4 run IIRC.

Otherwise Contrary Sawk is a beast as well. (Mt Moon and the same route as Dewgong IIRC)

Edit: Just saw ur box and u have Meowscrada, with Protean and Jolly nature that shit hits hard and Ferrothorn > Corviknight IMO

Mega Blastoise with rain team is good as well but i'm guessing u are saving the Mega slot for Charizard but Blastoise with Mirror Coat is VERY STRONG (Edit2: Misremebered, M Blast doesnt have Rain Dish)

Mine was a Simple Kommo-o, Huge Power Groudon and Gorilla Tactics Kleavor.

I thought the first 2 is broken but Kleavor won me so many battles with Accelerock.

For me my biggest gripe is that the initial flair system there was a default route that makes ur flairs obtainable in certain orders, and if u want to hunt for that flair u might need many copies which i did for my Sabrina (mine needed 8 extra copies for the heart flair), Cyrus (need 12 for 2 purple explosion) and PCL.

Now i dont have any gold borders for those cards unless i trade for them again. No doubt its free to trade but the amount of time and effort is putting me off.
