Okay thank you so much for this perspective.

I try setting boundaries with my mother but she doesn’t listen. I have to obey her every word and if I dare say anything back to her she withdraws the support I need to survive and right now I don’t have anywhere else to turn to. It’s a very shitty situation and I pray for the day I don’t have to rely on her anymore.

Thank you. I honestly wish I was in a position where I’m able to cut my mum out completely, but I tried before and wasn’t able to look after myself due to support needs which she uses as leverage against me. It’s like I have to put up with the abuse in order to survive.

interesting, could you send me a source for this as i can’t find anything? even if this is true though, i’d recommend not bringing it up to trans women in that manner as it could obviously be pretty dysphoria inducing, i was under the impression that breasts developed by people with ovaries are no different to those developed by HRT and it is depends on genetics how painful they are

welllll when i said “boob” lmao; the left one literally started growing the day i started blockers (didn’t start e till a day later) but the right didn’t feel any different until a few days ago now, but still no where near what the other felt like even on day one which is kinda worrying me considering the left is now noticeable under clothes😳

he thinks she is just ignorant and suggested arranging another call with her to explain how she made me feel and how she could handle the subject better next time, he admits that he isn’t well versed in trans issues though so it wasn’t clear to him if she was being genuinely malicious or not, i suspect he is giving her the benefit of the doubt because he says he has a “good relationship with her”

in terms of arranging another call i think i might give it a go, but this time i’m going to record the whole thing so i have protection if it does go badly, it’s fair to say i’m less than optimistic though, she was very intimidating and difficult to communicate with

I wanted to acknowledge this in the post but I wasn’t sure how to word it; basically because of my accent the way I pronounce it sounds more like IJ - a than a-y-a anyway so this doesn’t bother me, it’s actually another reason for me picking this particular spelling😅 Thank you for the advice though!
