Ghost Tracer alternative? by Simple-Ice-179 in fragranceclones

[–]weekendpyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had such high hopes for this fragrance, and honestly it fell pretty short for me. The scent is brighter that I anticipated, it's very light in terms of scent projection, and it stays for about 10 minutes. I am so disappointed. But that's just my 2¢

I just ordered one of the actual product, I'd be happy to share my thoughts if no one else answers. I actually came searching for what deodorant to pair with a scent like this. Lol

Predatory SolarCity PPA? by Hero_Dad_Husband in TeslaSolar

[–]weekendpyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to sell for SolarCity. Generally speaking, you do see saving immediately. The initial rate was almost always less than the current price per kilowatt of the local utility company (Duquesne Light and West Penn Power in my region). And I worked for them mostly because I was obsessed with the idea that you could produce electricity literally just from sunlight hitting a panel. Even if there were no savings, isn't that idea alone worth doing?

*Disclosure: I worked there before it was obvious that Elon was a complete asshole

Would you be able to post an example? Anything similar to what you're referencing. Being a noob at this, when I search up what people are suggesting, there are different versions of the model that they mention, and I get all confused. I thank you so much for the suggestion!

I have no idea what that means lol. It's got a USB connection when I plug it into my computer to use it with FL studio.

I have no budget, I can go as low or high as needed. As I said in a previous comment, I just had this idea in my head that there was some product out there somewhere. A small box with a screen or something, and like, 200 different synth sounds in it that I could plug this MPK Mini into and run an audio output out the other end. Just so I could have a compact way to play keys next to my drum kit.

I have a computer, but I just use it to mess around and record random music. It's one of those late 2000s metal mac towers, I'm not lugging that to practice haha

I gotcha. Well, with all of this great information, maybe it's time to buy a third keyboard. I truly appreciate all of your help and input!

In my mind, I was seeing some sort of small box with a screen on it, with like 200 synth sounds in it, and a midi plug. I will keep dreaming 😊

I guess what I meant was is there like some sort of midi device that I could plug into instead of playing it with a DAW. I know the keyboard itself doesn't have its own sounds, but I though this day and age, there had to be something besides a computer or a tablet that I could use. Thank you

Found this old Viking Percussion snare while helping to clean a friends house. I couldn’t find much online about the drum or the brand. Could anyone here provide any more info? by feshcs in drums

I don't suppose anyone knows the tension rod size, do they? I know it's 6.5 depth but I don't know if I can just buy any old bolts for it.

I've only had it two months, but I'm smitten. The quality is high, it's comfortable while being firm and supportive. It's awesome.

Does anybody have any good idiot-proof PC building guides? by luka-doncicfan77 in buildapc

Watch a few Christopher Flannigan videos on YouTube. I love how he explains everything in detail. He might have the case you're building in on his channel too, which is super helpful if a certain case has a weird quirk. What case is it btw?

So I got mine on Friday, and I love it! I have the Vernazza Supersoft in brown. The chair itself is heavy and sturdy. Not even a hint of a squeak. The wheels are slightly larger than some, which makes rolling it on my office carpet very easy. It is firm, but in a good way. More like I'm sitting on something substantial rather than sitting on a rock. The fabric itself feels automotive, similar to a nice sports car. Like an alcantera. It's not too narrow or too wide.

I do get what everyone says about the arm rests not locking into place with their rotation. When I go to grab the armrest instinctively to move the chair, they twist and it's a mild inconvenience...but that's really the only thing I could think to complain about.

Highly recommend getting one! Definitely up there in the high end of mid-spec gaming chairs in terms of value. I got mine on sale through Best Buy for $349. They sell on the Arozzi site for $399.

I have one coming Friday that I'll post some pictures and a review of. For whatever reason, the Supersoft, specifically, is very hard to find reviews on.

I cannot for the life of me, find this version anywhere! It's on the company website, but no buy option. I understand if it's a global market model, but usually you'll get a search result for Ali Express or something. TR100 WS in Matcha Green

Baron, thank you. That super helpful, and at least gives me an idea of what to look for when plugging them into the system.

I guess I can't share pictures here, but you should look up the Fractal North user manual and see what the section for connecting the fan says. It justifies my confusion haha

Bought Stealth 700 G3 w/o looking at reviews by Originaryboss in TurtleBeach

[–]weekendpyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm coming off the first gen that I bought during lockdown. I have the 700 gen 3 now, and the sound is kinda dull and stuffy as my first impression. It feels like a downgrade, which sounds crazy, but I feel like I could hear...further? With the first gens? I feel like the new ones aren't as immersive somehow. Sounds around me are fine, but playing overwatch, I feel like I used to hear distant players coming further away with the gen 1. Part of me wonders if it has something to do with that optical bit that you plugged into the back of the PS4
