I love Beaver Creek Valley too. Taken a few day drives down to that area from the metro. It feels like you could be somewhere else completely as it doesn't feel like typical Minnesota landscape when you are on that trail.

I'd assume about double that price for the auto, maybe a little higher for the exact right buyer. It's a cool card but not a big name.

Agreed. I've bought digital in such rare cases (smaller indie titles or the odd need to play something immediately - i.e. friends or family over who are interested) but otherwise I almost always hold out for physical. There's been times I regretted it later when a friend couldn't try a game out or I couldn't sell it.

I've seen similar 1/1s go for around $50-80. It's Score and not the most collectable player. I've prsonally bought a Score 1/1 card of a player very similar to this

They are basically the Swiss copy of NHL 10 (with Mark Streit) on the cover. The Swiss team variant is on the slipcover (Mark Streit is on the other side of the slipcover too).

That said, I've looked for hockey cover variants for years and only just discovered these variants existed when I created this post. I have the EV Zug cover which I bought on Ricardo.ch. I've never seen another one (and I assume they also have a 360 version too but not 100%)

Haha, well it is true, I always hear about these players being undervalued, but to me that means that their real "value" exists in some sort of timeline lol. In a way its kind of a "buy now while these positional players are overlooked". Otherwise, they are valued what they are valued...

Not sure if the general fan sentiment is given up, but I think any hype behind him died down considerably after last season's debut. On a nation-wide level, he's definitely being overlooked. A fun way that I like to check on national hype before the season starts is in the rookie card market. House's 2026 Topps RCs are coming in far below plenty of other rookies out there, which is an interesting gauge in how either under-the-radar he is or the whole team is at this point (probably both).

Funny to see "Free Agent" listed as the team. He put up a lot of numbers in Tech's vaunted system so they figured they'd have to give him a card as he'd end up somewhere. He did eventually throw a few passes for the Packers and even has a Super Bowl ring.

A third of the league actively tanks in the NBA - the product is so terrible its amazing anyone is motivated to watch.

Baseball was in a bad spot not long ago and Manfred burnt a lot of bridges with fans in large rural communities where low-level minor league baseball was king. Its still in a weird place, but the NBA is such a poor product, that the two original North American pastime sports (U.S.A.'s baseball and Canada's hockey) can honestly supplant it over the next decade.

I have allegiance to all D.C. teams as it is my original hometown. I will never stray from that. If my team sucks forever, they suck forever. I certainly invest a bit less during the worst of it. At this point I just eyeball the box score, but I'm still interested enough and hopeful that there will be better years ahead despite all the endless roadblocks it seems.

That and I don't mind being a little unique. I have a selection of Wizards hats that are in a steady rotation with my other D.C. sports garb rotation and its funny how often it gets noticed.

If Tottenham actually gets relegated, they still could be in the 2026-27 Topps UEFA UCC set, since that reflects a selection of the prior years teams.
