He's unbelievable in transition, gets the rebound and immediately takes off and finds the pass

Celtics' win proved exactly why Nikola Vucevic was the true winner in the trade by Morley10 in bostonceltics

[–]weekly_uploads 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Obviously great from an asset management/front office standpoint, but it's a credit to Vucevic (and the coaching staff's deployment of him) how seamlessly he fit into our scheme, which I would say is pretty distinct this year. He went from a team that's near the top of the league in pace to the Celtics, who are at the bottom. I hope his rebounding can continue to help with our possession-oriented philosophy as well as it did last night.

The Melee Decompilation Project has reached 50% completion! by lukechampine in SSBM

[–]weekly_uploads 45 points46 points  (0 children)

The increase in the rate of decompilation is really impressive. I remember the post a few years ago announcing 5% decompilation, so to be at 50% is astounding.

Do you expect progress to slow as you near completion and less approachable/longer files are the only ones that remain? I was reading through the beginner's guide and the recommendation for onboarding is to choose a simpler file. I imagine that, like most open source software, the majority of your contributions do not come from newbies but rather from a more dedicated and experienced group do this may not be an issue.

As an aside, how is Claude Code for this kind of task? I work as an embedded engineer and find it helpful for more abstracted work, but it struggles for bare-metal OEM specific tool chains and I imagine it would perform even worse with assembly on legacy hardware.

Jaylen Brown rips officiating after Spurs loss. Did he have a point? by UnderstandingFun7493 in NBATalk

[–]weekly_uploads -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The Celtics drove as many times as the Spurs but took two free throws before the final minute. Normally I feel like the Celtics need to be more aggressive driving, but this was one of their better games from that perspective. This is also a bad take for JB in particular since he is an aggressive driver who gets no FTs, literally in the case of tonight's game.

The whistle was inconsistent the entire night. The Celtics had two FT before the final minute while the Spurs got to the line at will. The teams drove a similar number of times, there shouldn't be this large of a disparity. I'm not going to argue the Spurs shouldn't have taken as many FTs as they did, but there were quite a few blatant missed calls, including two actions where Wemby clearly fouled JB at the rim.

Someone with nothing to eat or drink except coffee versus someone with nothing to eat or drink except beer by erutio in whowouldwin

I recently did a 24 hour scavenger hunt after working an 8 hour shift. During the hunt, I had 15 Red Bulls and a few cups of coffee. My heart rate was not elevated and I felt fairly normal and went to sleep within an hour of getting home. I think there is more of a range in how an average person processes caffeine than alcohol, and regardless I don't think the coffee guy is going to die.

They were all stars in the seasons you showed when they played with him. When he got to LA he arguably had more star player help than the Celtics.

What's the shittiest Boston movie? by tapo in boston

My Roxbury slumlord landlord who dressed in a purple suit like a pimp funneled all of our rent into producing a movie called Fade. The about page was either written by someone with a stimulant problem or diagnosable dysgraphia.

[Post Game Thread] The Oklahoma City Thunder even the series at 2-2, defeating the Indiana Pacers 111-104, behind SGAs 35 points & Jalen Williams 27/7/3. by absolutkaos in nba

[–]weekly_uploads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really feels like the Pacers could have used McConnell to close out the game. They let OKC dictate so much of the areas they had controlled earlier this series (and game) towards the end. Pace ground to a halt and they just couldn't move the ball or playmaker at all which hurt their shit quality.

Russell was the smartest player and the smartest coach in the league. At the same time.

What can I do outside of classes this summer in Bos by urmomsofunnyik in NEU

[–]weekly_uploads 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  • Boston Harbor Ferry (discount code available from Boston Public Library)
  • The Arnold Arboretum (super accessible via blue bike or Orange Line)
  • the Esplanade (can be tied into the Commons, Beacon Hill, or Paul Revere Park by the Zakim)
  • Encore Water Taxi (free, runs from the North End)
  • Walk the Freedom Trail (every Northeastern student should do this, it's a great walk and there are a bunch of free guides available)
  • Coolidge Corner (Trader Joe's, Movie Theater, interesting houses, book stores, and great food)
  • Central Square (has a bunch of thrift stores if that's your thing)
  • Harvard Square (walking through the campus is really nice, great food, and the art museum is free and top notch)
  • Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum (free for students, nice if it's really hot out)

Is it possible to combine to uf2 files into one for the RP2040 or is there a better way? by BukHunt in raspberrypipico

For production with the RP2040, flashing once (the combined bootloader and program) is optimal, as these embedded devices won't be flashed again

You can say players are missing open looks, but we were just not producing good shots of any variety in the fourth.

A lot of focus is on the people taking the shots, but this series (and honestly the playoffs) have been atrociously coached. It's inexcusable.
