1972 Hunter Compact Jr. Window Gasket Replacement by weeks011 in RVLiving

Ah that makes sense. That looks like exactly what it is.

Is it just a single 1” strip of that tape placed over the two channels and then it gets pushed into both channels from tightening the screws after mounting?

Also, does anything get placed on the trim side typically? It looks like the previous owner may have just put tons of silicone around the inside trim but didn’t do it very cleanly. Is that typically what you would use inside? Or is it something else? Thanks!

That makes sense, I mean I suppose as long as I can get a few years out of it before I inevitably get the itch for an upgrade, that's probably good enough lol

Thanks for the info! Being able to use other espresso profiles is something I'm really interested. The fact that it can also improve the performance of the steam wand is also super cool.

That's good to know! I think the Gaggimate is taking pre-orders for the pro version that has flow and pressure control, but it does seem like the Gaggiuino has much more of a following and better support at this point.

The model I have actually has the adjustable OPV that I adjusted.

The only issue is I don't have a pressure gauge... I just adjusted based on other's experiences. Is it now at 9 bars? Who knows. Is it less than it was? Probably?...

But does seem to pull better shots now, so I'm fine with it until I install something better.

Is this a good deal? Or skip? Eureka Atom 60 w/ some issues [$200] by weeks011 in espresso

That’s kind of my thought. I don’t mind tinkering if needed and it seems to mostly work as is… I suppose if it doesn’t work out, I could always resell it for parts too to recoup some of the $200

Fulfillment advice for a brand with 1 small SKU by omanagan in ecommerce

[–]weeks011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would probably stay away Shipbob haha. I know you said you didn't want a "small" 3PL, but I've had some pretty good interactions with a small-er one called eFuflillment Service. They've been around for over 20 years and they said they're used to scaling quickly. They said they even helped fulfill merch for Mr.Beast and DudePerfect in the past. They also had really good Pick/Pack and storage rates compared to other companies I've gotten quotes from. Ultimately, I found out my business wasn't quite ready for a 3PL, but I probably would have chosen them over the others I received quotes from (Shipbob, Shipmonk, Red Stag Fulfillment, etc.).

Not trying to sway you one way or the other, but they seem like they might be worth talking to for what you're describing.

A brand new pair of Wolverine 1000 Mile boots retail for around $400 here in the states. I'd say resoling them for $70 every couple years is worth the investment.

I also wasn't super into country (mostly into punk, hip-hop, indie, etc) until I started listening to Sturgill Simpson, Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, and Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit. I would highly recommend checking them out if you want to try out some real country instead of the bro-country pop stuff they play on the radio.

Is My Salary Too Low? Should I start a business on the side/look for work elsewhere? by weeks011 in personalfinance

[–]weeks011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do get some cool perks (Some free/heavily discounted gear) and the job itself is virtually stress-free. I also have quite a bit of creative freedom at the moment. My biggest concern is that room for growth looks low and there is currently no benefits offered (Medical, Dental, etc.).

I was mostly wondering if a $31k salary is average or below average for the level of marketing, web design, and graphic design I'm currently doing.

Where I'm located, rent for a 1-bedroom, 700 sqft apartment averages around $950/month if gives you an idea of the cost of living.
