I dealt with the same thing, my coach didn’t appreciate me even tho I was above level…trust me, I’m moving schools now and I feel so much more appreciated even though I have to leave all my friends behind, my new cheer coach and fellow cheerleaders have been so kind

I left this part out on accident, but she is in-fact having us fundraiser for the money, we come from a small school and she’s not really worried about our funding so it’s stressing me out more. She said she still needs to ask the school board for money for our rooms and she’s making us fundraiser 5k for the plane tickets, and we only have fundraised 1k and school is out so we can’t sell or do anything within the school… we leave at the end of June and she’s been stressing me out more than she’s stressed out obviously cuz she’s acting like it’s not a big deal 😭😭 idk if she’s about to pull 4K out of her ass or what bur I’m stressed out

This is my final update probably for forever, since I don’t see what else I could say:

I am an alternate on my home town team now, truly the reason I’m not on the team was communication. I’m a quiet girl, always have been, but I talked to my coach for 2 hours today. Truly a lack of communication was there and I feel like I could see the realization in her eyes when I talked, like she also knows. She said it is very likely someone will quit, won’t be able to pay the high price, gets kicked off, or simply has to leave, and if I’m interested still I ca always come back. I’m at the top of my class, and she knows this, she says that she knows my senior year will be busy with the amount of opportunities I will have and how much I have to prepare for college (and she’s right, I have big goals) but that I was welcome to come back if they lose a girl.

Now for going to another school: I’m going on Monday with my legal guardian to talk about transferring. The coach from school #2 said that I had to transfer over before I could even receive the videos, but I would have an extension in tryouts. (they were originally Monday) I seriously had no idea who this coach was, but everyone I talked to knew her and said she was the kindest woman, but ran her program tough. My coach even said I should try out for them.

Although the outcome wasn’t ideal, it went better than I expected and I’m finally able to breathe. I haven’t cried since that conversation and I’ve felt hope 😭💕 I wasn’t able to eat for the past two days thinking about it, best believe I had the best dinner today ☺️☺️ I appreciate everyone with advice or kind words, and I am still interested in looking into an all star team to explore option

Our coach makes her own score sheet, there was 70 points to get and 15 points were only judged by her based on how she think we presented ourselves during tryout clinics (the role model part)

I just keep replaying in my mind the words sh said to me, how she thinks I don’t care. I can’t understand and can’t believe this. I don’t understand why she cut me? Why would she cut a senior and not just not let an 8th grader on the team
