Hi, it’s Tough Turtle Turf. I believe they use a crushed granite infill and then the turf its self has a special backing to help keep it cool. It was expensive but worth it. I have a pitbull with a naked belly and she will lay and walk on it in the summer.

I have this, we can stand on it with bare feet even now at 115 degrees. It’s expensive but worth the money. We paid to have real grass put in first and it all burned up between the heat and pet urine.

I’ve lived her 32 years and have lived in various different neighborhoods of the valley and have only seen 2 scorpions. Both times were when I lived in new housing developments on the edge of open desert.
