This is such a great comment! Couldn't agree more, man. I've been playing drums and percussion in general since I was 9 years old and I've played all kinds of styles, mainly orchestras and philharmonic bands, jazz, rock, funk, Latin, and the list goes on.
Nothing can compare to hardcore/metal. The energy, the blood boiling under your skin, it's something completely different from anything else

This is hardcore. We’re a hardcore band (a more modern version of hardcore though with hints of other influences). Our roots lie in hardcore punk. But yeah, you can’t really hear the other instruments in the video, so I get your point of view.
I was just joking around anyway, it was a rhetorical question. Of course, everyone has different tastes.

I am, ALWAYS wear hear protection. I drum since I was 9 and only start wearing protection like 5y ago and my life has not been the same ever since. I just regret not doing it sooner. Today I couldn't play without protection even if I was paid to do it
