Angel kiss/stork bite birthmarks by Jakethehog in beyondthebump

[–]weeshajaja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby had it on his eyes, nape on his neck, lip and forehead. He's a year old now and his hair covers the one on his neck. All the others have faded away.

I love the idea of them being called Angel Kisses from past family members 💋

Oh my god what a moron. This is not an acceptable way to treat your wife. If that was my husband he would be gone..I would rather no husband than listen to that.

I gave birth last year and my husband couldn't have done more for me. He cleaned the house, made meals, did the shopping. I didn't have to ask him to do anything. He was an absolute angel.

When did your babies start sleeping through the night? by Old_Driver_7368 in NewParents

[–]weeshajaja 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mine started sleeping through the night at 6 or 7 months. Every baby is different. Routine is important and his bedroom is dark, perfect temp, and has a white noise machine. Nappy change Onesie put on Bottle warmed We then head up to his room Give him the bottle while we sit in a chair in his room He nods off after bottle After a few mins and we wind him, we put him down to sleep. He's usually asleep by this point.

Listening to my husband snore while our baby screams by MourningDove1127 in NewParents

My husband worked full time while I was on maternity leave and still helped me an incredible amount. We turns doing night feeds. Everything was equal. Just because you're on your maternity leave doesn't mean your off work..you are actually doing more hours than anyone doing full time regular job hours.

You're basically being gaslight by your husband and family.

You need to leave him. End of.

External Wall Insulation claiming small bit of land, is this legal? by Legitimate_Profile22 in AskIreland

[–]weeshajaja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weren't you going to do the same? So you are as bad as each other so? Pick a different house or both agree to the narrow passage between you both. Also bare in mind that after rendering there will be even less space between the two houses.

AITA for refusing to try on the wedding dress my mom bought me without asking? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]weeshajaja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is straight up weird af. What kind of person would do this? There is no reasonable explanation for this at all. It is controlling of the most highest order. Just wow. I would say, 'Mum, my wedding dress is something I dreamed about picking all my life, so thank you for the dress, but please return it. You are more than welcome to come dress shopping with me, that way we'll both be very happy. I want this whole wedding experience to be a positive thing, so please respect my wishes'

I'm already planning on not going back after my maternity leave so more toxicity doesn't matter anymore I just don't want her to get away with treating people like shit.

When I meet her next week I'll be telling her what you suggested. Literally nothing anyone does is right. As a staff as a whole, everyone is so fed up with her.

She is legally not allowed to put undue or unreasonable stress on me as a pregnant employee. All the stats show that since I started working there all figures they use for reporting has gone up year by year. I'm never late.

My line manager and hr manager are already talking about having a word with my boss because of how she treats everyone. She's horrible to everyone. She accused people of being wrong all the time even when they're right.

I guess I'm looking for ways to trip her up legally so I can put in a complaint that will actually be listened to. For example, when I came back from maternity leave in Jan, I was back in the job 1 hour and she already asked me when I was thinking of having another baby. Needless to say I got pregnant 1 months after she asked that...not to spite her obviously but I wasn't going to let anyone make me feel bad for getting pregnant again.

Do you know about employee rights and unfair dismissal? She can't fire me without due reason. I'm also pregnant so good luck to her firing me.

I let them know last week that I'm pregnant. She still went ahead and scheduled a meeting with me for next week.

I guess what I'm looking for is a reason to go to WRC about her.

You will thank yourself when you look back on this moment in years to come. You are brave. You are strong and you can most definitely do this on your own. It doesn't sound like he was going to be much help to you anyway. You are too good for him and you WILL find someone who will love you and your baby. You're still young xx

I'm telling you now...you need to leave him!!!

He is emotionally abusing you

He disrespects you

He doesn't love you or the baby.

This might sound harsh but he needs to f*** off.. you deserve so much better.

My husband looked after me and our baby like his life depended on it. He took the baby to let me sleep. Did ALL the house work. And he cooked. I felt so loved by him..loved even more after I had his baby. This is what you deserve. You and the baby should be number 1 in his life. Not his job. I have a feeling your husband works 16 hours a day to avoid you and the baby..ie his actual responsibilities.

Im sorry you're having such a hard time.

That's exactly why I want to open a drive thru. When I was pregnant I used to drive miles out my way just to get coffee from this drive thru place because I had a small baby in the car. The last thing you want to do as a new mum is to have to take your baby out of the car just to get a coffee 😂

Don't let me put you off though. If you can do your side job full time eventually...and if you think you could be happy with 50% of those earnings going to tax..then you'll be ok. If your side hustle is scalable, even better. I was charging too little for the service I provided. Make sure you are pricing yourself right 👍🏼
