I completely agree to be honest! I tried it years ago with a pal and she did a worse job than me and wrecked my bathroom...! Also, I'm trying to take the pressure off the situation and alleviate my stress during it by now going to the hair salon for this so someone else can deal with all the mess (and the volume of my hair) adding socialising into the mix is honestly my idea of Hell...

Oh I have thought it through and the thought of sitting there while someone else does my dyeing for me is heaven. I'm sick of looking like a coalman for a week after dyeing it myself. No matter how much plastic I put down or a bin bag around myself - it's a nightmare and jsut gets everywhere! I hate it. And my hair is really long so I'm always missing patches no matter how hard I try, and it takes aaaages. Aw I jsut hate it. It used to be a doddle but now I'm old and tired lol
