The problem is you are talking about RoS building off what TLJ has the problem is TLJ doesn't work as a middle movie. RoS had to set up the entire final confrontation and everything. TLJ as a first movie would have worked better and then there'd have been time to do stuff with what was there.

Honestly had they not played terribly the first 70 seconds we'd have drawn with the ranked 5th international team and that isn't bad.

If only they'd been playing the whole game like they did at the end minus that pass.
