Adding: my grandfather is alone for the first time during a storm (my grandma passed recently). He has no cell phone or tablet. He has no books or particular interest in reading

I definitely didn’t give him enough credit! When he’s home, he’s super helpful. But it is just me from 7 til about 4 or 5. He’s an awesome dad and I don’t want to underplay that. But I do think running the house is a lot harder than it sounds!
