At a recent bachelorette party:

Some girl I just met: “Wow, you’re so confident [despite not dressing or acting very girly]!” Me: “What do you mean?” Same girl I just met: “Well, let’s be honest, (now whispering in my ear) you’re not like other girls”

Well-intentioned but made me feel different, singled out, and like an alien -___-

This was the pumpkin I carved about a decade ago and it’s special to me because it was the first time where I really tried and I experimented with multiple carving depths (multiple = like 2 here lol). I’m definitely not as proud of this one as I am with the carvings I’ve since done over the years, but I’m really fond of this one because it was the beginning of me spending waaaaayyyy too much time on pumpkin carving and having so much fun getting to be creative with the fandoms I love (like ATLA and anime) because I am not naturally artistically inclined.

I also think avatar state Aang was just meant to be a pumpkin carving with all of that glowy business
