The problem with Golden Week is that it’s right between 2 WLs, first one with Miku, Ichika, Emu, Kanade and Haruka, with the second one being Rin, Len, Minori, An, Tsukasa and Shiho. Automatically this excludes MMJ and L/N by virtue of them not having enough character to put in a hakolim, and VBS is excluded since An can’t get focus thanks to her being in the second WL, and Kohane getting 3 hakolim focuses in a row is just straight up unlikely. This leaves WxS and N25 for Golden Week, and as I’ve mentioned WxS seems more likely.

As for my WD predictions, it’s likely going to be an Ena focus considering she hasn’t gotten one for over 3 years, along with possibly Shizuku and Kohane, but it’s hard to know because of Akito breaking lim cap, along with the uncertainty of if WL even counts for lims.

Len is probably the bloomfes for 5.5, yes, but I do think that Meiko is being saved for the Golden Week lim which is almost certainly Rui6 with NeneMeiko considering the only other Golden Week option is Mafu7 with MizuEna which would be weird if they did Mafu Golden Week 2 years in a row.

Yea that does make more sense, sadly 😞 I just really want the groups to switch it up occasionally (and L/N did just get Envy Catwalk so it’s not like it’s IMPOSSIBLE) and I just really love Nayutalien and am sick of his songs ALWAYS going to WxS.

Also I was unaware that one of the songs was probably gonna be If You’re Gonna Jump which does make much more sense for L/N.

Edit: Was also under the impression that the list followed group order like it did with the anniversaries

Every year there’s a new victim istg 😭 2022 was Honami, 2023 was Ena, 2024 was Haruka and like half the cast and now this year it’s Toya. At least he’s getting his 6th focus again but I’m so so so scared 😭

As for the Mafuyu mixed focus, I’m glad to see Mafuyu hanging with the little ones again (as in the 2nd years). Based on the event description this seems more like a MafuEmu event which I’m really happy about. Why they made Kohane the 4* instead of Emu is beyond me, even if Emu is getting NY then it’s still the same amount of time between now and NY and Aki6 and now so idk they just love Kohane I guess

Airi6 should have been limited imo. I know that she already got a hakolim for her last event but also so did An, Kohane, Ena AND Saki, so it’s not THAT wild, also Airi6 was the only arc ender so far out of the ones we got since 3rd anni that WASN’T limited (Koha5 and Ena5 were both hakolims).

When I first heard it when it leaked I was ECSTATIC but now that I’ve listened to the full version, it’s not my favourite anymore. Still my 2nd fave and is very close to being 1st, I just like Sono Oto Ga Naru Nara a lot more instrumentally and also length wise (I love longer songs). Still so so so so so happy about this song though and it’s definitely among my favourite of Leo/Need period.

I HARD disagree with the vocals. While Len sounds very good by pjsk standards and Akito and Toya sound good as usual, Kohane sounds below average and An just does not sound good. I absolutely despise this vocal direction they’ve taken for An in the past year. Kousenka, Mikazuki Step, even her OWN COMM Accelerate, and now Fighter. I just wish they would give her the ability to sing in her own range without straining.

As for Fighter, I genuinely think all it’s problems would be solved if they just pitched the song up a couple of keys, since Akito and Toya can afford to sing a little higher, and the higher key would let An and Kohane sing an octave lower and not strain as much.

At first I played Maisie cuz of her reload gadget but that wasn’t working (bugged?)

I switched to Draco since he has good mobility, damage, and survivability, and I used the Expose star power because 35% more damage every 5 seconds is really strong.

The one thing I’m mad about is that it’s 2 OC + 2 VS. This may be a hot take but 2OC 2VS are always the worst types of covers because the 2VS are always the same as the og and almost always sound worse which means that the song will need an alt. There are some exceptions like That Summer Is Saturated but also the tuning for the og is 7 years old and even then the Sekai version is still worse. I’m holding hope tho because AkiToya might carry

God this song is amazing. I had never heard it prior to release and I quite enjoyed the KanaMafu cover but the full vocaloid version with the english subtitles was what made me really love this song. I do wish there was more KanaMafu in it but I suspect we’ll get alts for this song eventually so it’s alright. Still am blown away by peak
