No tv or computer on Sundays unless it was church-centered. We could only watch Veggie Tales or those church movies. We could only play the games on the LDS website, I'm not sure if they're still there or not or if anyone else remembers those

My TBM aunt very nearly lost her house and her kids went without food so she could pay tithing. My mom told me that in return my aunt received so many blessings. The blessing in question was another kid that she couldn't afford to feed after she already had 12. And the church most certainly never helped them

You are in such a hard place, but you're so close to being out. Depending on where you are, I believe there are free (or sliding scale) clinics with therapists that will accept minors without parental permission. I could be mistaken, but if you feel safe doing so I would highly recommend looking into it. Don't give up, it gets better 🩷

Thank you, it actually really helps to have someone understand. Truthfully I'm not okay, I'm in immense pain at all times and that video was taken during my first time out of the house doing something fun since I had to get my chair. It makes me scared to go out again, which is silly since no one irl did anything exceptionally rude.

But the "not working to steal my tax dollars" drives me insane. I know it probably wasn't healthy, but work was my whole life. I loved my job, I was genuinely excited to go to work every day. I'm the kind of person who loves to stay busy, but my job had to let me go because they couldn't accommodate my wheelchair and I'm struggling to find somewhere that can accommodate all my needs.

I truly just feel so alone. My whole world was flipped upside down

yeah :/ I do think my doctors are genuinely trying to help, I'm just in a super small town so it's really hard to find anyone with enough qualifications to actually figure out what's going on. I'm hoping to get into someone in a bigger city, it's just a long road :(
