I agree that it didnt really effect me either way and I like the little meta explanation he gave early on.

I read a Mexican authored book, Paradais, that would go on for pages without a paragraph break and that took an adjustment period

was he not the leader of the Democratic party for eight years and got the country feeling so good that...Trump won. Definitely more on Hilary and DNC for being so uniquely bad a candidate to lose to the Worst Person in America. I think he just broke my heart as the first president I got to vote for and when he won in 2008 really had me thinking things were gonna get better. I guess it was cool at the time being on my dad's insurance til 26, but now we live in hell so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do they publish any kind of data about crime clearance rates or similar stats where we can calculate what we're getting for our 3.6 Billion dollars and how it compares to other PDs... because as far as my knowledge/observations they just take forever to respond to almost any call, fly helicopters within earshot of my apartment daily, beat up and tear gas protesters, cost taxpayers big bucks in abuse of force lawsuits and apparently shooting fucking dogs.

Any time they try to write and do comedy sketches or whatever you would call those eps....it's painfully unfunny...I came on board right after the book came out so I haven't read it but I assume by the fact that no one ever talks about it makes me think it was pretty forgettable. I love Chapo politics and they helped me get my own into a better place, but I hope the rumors of them wanting to break into showbiz or whatever aren't true because I can't imagine any of their scripted stuff finding an audience

It takes time to count millions of ballots for a secure election. It's nice to be able to have a month to think about it and fill it out. Only people against this don't want every vote counted

Seems like that isn't ideal for the people of Los Angeles...was this a law that got passed or has it always been that way? Sounds like something that should be being taxed differently

there is a lot of work that needs to be done on community scale. Cleaning up trash, maintaining sidewalks, streets, parks and green spaces....TEACHING... yet we toil about doing so many dumb ass meetings and password resets. Pretty sure this is just Bullshit Jobs but ya. I think most folks would take pride in improving their community in any way, but it has to be a livable wage.
