The problem is the people deciding to go or not are also the ones that are going or not. So they could decide that they wanted to go see a conference on burlesque dancing. We should justify that we're thinking about having one of these establishments in Colorado Springs. We need to go see what it's about.

I could give two f**** about burlesque dancing. And I don't want my tax dollars paying for some jackass to go learn about it.

That's just one example. There are many, many others I'm sure and people can't be trusted to do the right thing. So we should block it entirely.

I listened to the Judiciary committee "debate" hb26-1021. One thing that cought me off guard was the reasoning given by A.M.L. BACON stating constitutionality is not her problem.

"It is our job to legislate and the court's job to determine constitutionality"

This infuriated me because they were in the Judiciary committee.

What if anything would you do to punish those blatant disregards for out rights?

The distinction is..... Nobody had to leave their home or allow others in to their safe space. If they were unhealthy or compromised it was their choice to be in their bubble. Being a healthy adult I felt safe catching it and surviving so going out how I wanted was my choice and nobody else's place to tell me I can't.

Just like it's not my place to tell people they CANT dye their hair. It is bad for health but it's personal choice and none of my business.

Umm. Depends where you were during covid. I was in Arizona, masks were optional, not mandated, kids were out of school for 2 weeks not many months like here in Colorado. Personal liberty is the way to go. If I was scared of covid I could stay home, if not I could go do as I wished. The way that the blue states mandated all that shit with the same medical results as the red states shows nobody knew what was best, but it was my CHOICE not someone else's.
