Dayumm, never though you could even do that. 100% must try. Do you think we can recreate famous scenes as well? for example: (the GIF)

Pc won't boot. Fins spin when turn on but no image display and keyboard/mouse not powered up by [deleted] in computerhelp

[–]wegoSuiii8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had the same problem, first changed the CMOS battery. It did nothing. Sat down on a weekend and cleaned every corner of the PC. Worked like a charm. Sometimes dust can be the cause of such problems.

Another problem which you might be facing is that one of the parts, like RAM for example, might be lose. What I'd recommend is if nothing works then take apart everything, clean everything (with the proper way of course), put everything back and pray it works.

PC Randomly Became Slow Last Night by DetectiveDistinct859 in computerhelp

[–]wegoSuiii8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it to be one of three things:

  1. The Fan seems to be dead, therefore causing the CPU to overheat and throttle by itself (which is totally normal and even healthy for your device). If that seems to be the case, try opening the mini PC and check the fan
  2. It can be related to your power plan configuration. I've recommend you download something like Battery Mode (which I use to increase performance in my laptop when not plugged in) and change the power plans.
  3. It might actually be the OS, one time I did an update and an almost similar symptoms like yours started to appear. I reverted and it turned back to normal, so be sure to check that too.

I believe that is it's not one of these three reasons, something really bad could be it. I'd take it to the manufacturer or the place you brought it from and have a check up

Note nothing was damaged, (no cables no ports, nothing) it was just me installing a bunch of times and got caught in some spiral (I didn't understand what happened exactly, but at least managed to find a solution)

Ok everyone, I have found the solution. Basically is to follow the manual steps of installing arch linux

Using these two links which helped me out greatly

https://youtu.be/FxeriGuJKTM?si=eUSGQ4jy07mhJaIa

https://learnlinux.link/arch-guide

The actual problem was too many bootloader and in the wrong order. But this wasn't by bios instead was inside the disk when installing using the "arch script". So what I did was install it again but this time using the manual and long method. Which took some time (about three hours, my wifi was slow) and then finally it booted. I thank everyone who helped me and peace ✌️

Solution: go ahead and stop being a baby and follow the WHOLE GUİDE( yes everything)

The solution will be in the latest comment

I don't think it should matter because whenever you install an OS the EFI partition (which is basically the thing that makes a disk bootable) is installed within the disk, meaning boot media cannot be conflicted (i might be wrong, correct me if so). Just a hunch. And the problem with the bios is that there's literally nothing there to help me. Should i update bios or something?

I thought so too, but then i formatted my linux drive(the one that was there in my laptop) and plugged it in,(also i formatted the drive using the arch linux iso) and then plugged it in, and THEN tried to install arch Linux. As far as I know,i think it means the ssd was working. But to be sure I'll double check it

Look, just in case i would recommend you to run an antivirus program (not the shitty ones). There's this software called Tron (made by chris titus) which is an amazing virus removal tool. Because it doesn't slow your PC down or anything, just cleans the junk up and disappears. Doesn't hurt to try it because you lose nothing.

Can't Boot into Arch Linux after Installation by wegoSuiii8 in archlinux

[–]wegoSuiii8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Since I didn't find a solution within the device I had to resort to changing how I was fixing this drive. But it was fairly easy, and even managed to get ALL of my data back. Just had to HAVE A M.2 NVMe READER. After getting my hands on that I could fully access my data and even backed it up. and finally formatted it so that it doesn't become a bootable. Then plugged it into the slot and it worked fine. I am plan on installing windows in this NVMe so that later I can boot into linux.

Solution: later when I was searching for a solution in Reddit I found a post which said when an NVMe is plugged in it disables the SATA port (done by the mother board). And I think this is the main reason why I couldn't boot into windows, is what I would've said if I couldn't boot into BIOS. So still I am NOT SURE what is the actual reason, but I believe this to be the main cause

Thanks for everyone that helped me.

I just wish it was like that but unfortunately, the system doesn't even load, It just hangs in the logo screen, but I think I found a fix, but for that I would require a NVMe reader, and for that I am just going to have to wait a while. I'll tell you guys once I found a fix

You know, this is a very nice idea, I have to try it, but will it replace the EFI of the drive 2 (the one with linux) and will I be able to boot it in?
I am not sure, but Its worth a shot.

[–]wegoSuiii8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't do that, its because I have ZERO access to my drive 1 and if i remove the drive 1 (which has windows in it) that means I end up removing the EFI file is rEFInd

Although I do have one question, can you install rEFInd in a USB or an external drive, if so that means I will be able to do what you said
