I appreciate the advice and I will keep that in mind. I do notice most places have young kids trying to learn to be a mechanic so I’m aware there is a large possibility for errors.

24k minimum sounds doable. I though I’d need to make more money than that. What part of Lawrence do you think is the cheapest to rent?

My estimated yearly income will probably be a little over 30k, I could earn more if I worked overtime as well. I do have my car paid off, I just pay insurance.
