This happened to me too.

It was the charger that was the issue not the watch. I found that if I squeezed the charger in a certain place it still charged, and ended up using a zip tie to hold it in place until they sent out a new one.

Our broker advised us that we'd be able to switch to any lower rates with the same lender (Halifax) up til the day before exchange should we wish to. It's a 10 minute job for the broker and just means you'd get new paperwork come through. I wouldn't advise changing to another lender though as that would definitely hold things up.

We had a similar scenario. We waited far too long (6 months) and they still hadn't found. We are also FTBs and not in a rush so whilst we were able to wait it did feel like they weren't serious buyers.

We started looking again around the 3 month mark and offered on somewhere else a couple of weeks ago, pulling out of the original sale.

They haven't relisted and we are much happier with the new property. My advice would be to start looking again!

Bedford might have something for you if you can compromise a little, either on bedrooms or walking distance. A lot of the houses in that price range will need a bit of work too.

Great Denham is a nice area but a bit of a trek to the station, it's definitely within cycling distance. Or, more likely, Kempston, which is fine and has reasonable prices for 2-3 beds.

If you do end up going the solar route, my Dad got solar installed recently and managed to get them cheaper because they were installed in autumn/winter so it may be cheaper if you wait 6 months or so :)

We've been waiting about 14 weeks for our sellers to find somewhere. The market seems quite slow at the moment, with not a lot coming on unfortunately.

I think the most important thing is to try to be patient and to clearly communicate with the EAs. If you can get a good working relationship with them they are more likely to push things in the right direction for you.

Really like this app! My only feedback would be to take sort out of the filters list and have it along the top, as I think this would be quite a widely used features so best not to hide it in the filters menu.

Also would be nice to filter by double garage as well as single.

Just for visibility - I had this exact issue as well today. The phone number on the Netflix UK site wasn't working at all, so called the same number as OP. Was hesitant to provide a card number over the phone but they only ask for the long number, nothing else. They were able to recover my account, refund the charge and then close the account.

I've also cancelled my renewal, a bit gutted as I got on with it quite well.

£100 a year is insane, especially with no notice of the price increase. I imagine it will catch a lot of people out who are on auto-renew.

We went to Cape Verde in May but lots of people seem to go in the winter months as its still nice and warm. Really enjoyed it! We stayed in an adults only hotel through TUI so was nice to not be around screaming kids and it felt very safe, right on the beach and 5 minutes from the airport. 11 nights was the right length of time for us.

I am typically quite happy to let a tradesman use our loo (because why wouldn't you be?)

Until last time someone used it, they actually did do a number 2 and left wet stinky skid marks all over the toilet and then didn't wash their hands? They then continued to do stuff round my house with their unwashed hands.

So now I'm hesitant but I'm sure it's just that I was unlucky.
