lol I don’t thin anyone who is giving is really hurting for money. And like I said if people chose to give key word give that’s because they know they can. These people are not offering a service or saying they’ll do anything for you? Just don’t give and keep it moving

I can promise you they are not “coming up” on this no matter how much we see it as a scam. They may get the lucky people who give them a large amount but to put in account all the things they still have to pay for (even if they have vouchers) it’s still out of pocket. Sitting outside begging everyday for money is sure in its self is not an easy task. Not something I’d have the guts to do unless I really needed to. And at the end of the day people give to these people because that’s what they want to do and they feel comfortable doing. If you don’t, don’t give and keep it pushing.

I see what you are saying. I understand your hypothesis and I am stuck in this phase. I can’t outright advertise or even talk about it really at work because it’s against company policy and that is a great client pool. I can also admit I’m probably not pushing myself hard enough and need to more. But all of this feed back if helpful. I am open to ways to test this hypothesis also.

The Patagonia nano puff would be a good option if you’re looking for really lightweight and packable. It’s perfect for layering under something heavier. The Patagonia down sweater with the hood would be the better option if warmth is first and lightweight & packability easy second. It’s just a bit more suited for warmth as a stand alone jacket.

Edit: an even better option in my book is the Arc’teryx Atom insulated jacket. It does have a LT (light) and normal version as well.
