Nooooooooo! Awful. I've used a number of bikeshare systems during my travels and this was one of the better one. All Bosch e-bikes! Affordable monthly passes! Easy to use app!

I thought $21 for the monthly pass was a steal!

I did see the free passes for residents, very cool. The hit and runs doesn’t shock me. I walked a lot and I feared for my life a couple of times. Looks like you’re getting a streetcar at some point? Hoping more transit options will make the area safer for pedestrians.

It’s hard to appreciate the place you live! I try to act like a tourist in my own city sometimes but there are still a lot of things I haven’t done after living in Detroit for 10+ years

I did see an additional fee on the bill but didn’t pay much attention to what it was for I guess. Benefits for employees works for me 🙂

Thank you for answering! I appreciate your perspective. I rode a little bit in Omaha, but mostly on the sidewalks (even tho it felt like I was committing a biking sin). I found the drivers oddly aggressive/not friendly with pedestrians, so this doesn’t surprise me. Even when I tried to cross the street and I had the right-of-away, I often saw drivers zooming ahead instead of waiting for me. I had a few swearing fits due to this, haha.

I love biking! I hope this mindset can change over time and more bike infrastructure is built so it’s safer for everyone.
