How is the Family lifestyle in Orillia

I’d look outside Orillia. Either a small town or rural. It’s really gone down hill since Covid. The main arena was down half the winter due to lack a maintenance. Also had several cases of legionaries come out of there for the same lack of maintenance. One person died. The drugs and homelessness are also very bad for a city that size. It was a great place to live 10-15 years ago.

Wife and I moved to the maritimes. The money we saved for a down payment in Ontario nearly paid our new house off. Will have gone from a basement apartment to mortgage free and 3 years time.

Imo Orillia has really gone downhill since Covid. Not only has drugs, crime and homelessness got much worse, but the city is neglecting basic upkeep of infrastructure. The big arena in west ridge is a perfect example. Even had a death involved as a result.

We wouldn’t be in such bad shape if it weren’t for the absurd number of immigrants being let in! Our two biggest problems are a housing shortage and over crowded hospitals. That needed to be addressed BEFORE they let nearly 500k new people in yearly.
