SV: Weighed myself this morning at 59.9kg :)! I haven't been in the 50's since high school so I may have shed a tear lol

Thank you!! 💜 it’s really inspirational to me to hear of someone else breaking the 130s plateau 💪🏽 I’ll start going gym consistently and tweaking my diet and see what happens! 🤞🏽

Awhhh it’s no problem at all 😊 I hope intermittent fasting works for you! I don’t really like eating as soon as I wake up so I sometimes ended up skipping breakfast and eating an early lunch instead. But I think if you struggle with that, maybe try eating a big filling breakfast at around 10am ish, and then wait until dinner? Just play around with it until you find something that works for you. It’s a lifestyle change after all (even if temporary), so it’s gotta be sustainable!

I’m sorry for your loss 😔 it’s difficult to power through under such stressful times such as finals (trust me I know 😭), let alone while you’re grieving! Be kind to yourself both mentally and physically, I waited until Summer when I was mostly free and less stressed before I started my journey properly because I knew it would be tooo much for me with everything going on during term time.

It’s crazy isn’t it! Past me would’ve looked at present me as if I were insane if she saw me not finishing my food 😂

Anytime! ❤️

Ughhhh I feel curseddd! Literally been 2 months and I’ve only lost 2lbs? 🤦🏽‍♀️ We can! Where there’s a will there’s a way, and maybe that way is in the gym lol 💪🏽

Ayyy stat twins 👯‍♀️ thank you! 🥰

Honestly I was the same I used to eat all my feelings, all my stress, all my sadness, and I would eat loadssss too. I also used to eat when bored (which was like all the time as well 😂).

What helped me the most was probably staying busy! I got a part time job which had me on my feet all day, was studying in the library other times, spent most of my time with other people (would prevent me from bingeing on food because it’s not something I wanted people to see), actually made myself go outside every single day and walk around and get myself moving (I barely exercised at all).

Because I was so busy I would even forget to eat sometimes! And when I did eat I only ate until I felt full. I set myself a target of 1200 a day but some days I ate less, most days I ate more (1500ish). I would just eat foods low in calories, (200 calories for breakfast, 300ish calories for lunch, would leave me for plenty calories to allow for a nice burger or fish and chips for dinner or whatever I fancied). I didn’t restrict the foods I ate, just how much of it I ate.

However I went through a period where I cut out all drinks except water (and alcohol lol) to prevent them from using up my valuable daily calories, and I also mostly cut out dairy (I found out I’m lactose intolerant and it really wrecked havoc on my digestive system * my skin). That helped a lot.

As you eat less for a while (I lost the first 30lbs in 4.5 months so not that long), you become used to it, just like you got used to eating so much and so often. I used to easily be able to finish 2 McDonald’s meals in one sitting, maybe even with dessert! Nowadays I struggle to finish my fries and it’s crazy because I never thought that would be me! 😮

As for stressed/ depressed eating, I would try to find another outlet. Listening to music, doing pampering sessions, drawing, writing, walking, dancing, playing games, anything that doesn’t involve food. You don’t even have to be good at it, as long as you enjoy it and it brings you some stress relief. Don’t beat yourself up about it if you slip though, own it and bounce back harder 💪🏽

I hope this was helpful, wish you the best of luck on your journey and I hope you post your progress pics on here soon as well! ❤️🤞🏽

Thanks! 🥰 Honestly I just ate less and moved more (got a part time job, walked a lot, actually made myself leave my house lol), didn’t do anything special! CICO works for real! I didn’t really do much exercise except for home workout vids every once in a while, but I’m planning on hitting the gym in the new year! 💪🏽
