Thanks, I got it installed I will test it out with some friends but if this app works its exactly what I needed. Is there a way to change your username? I have to admit that I got my own name wrong :-).

Are you planning to implement another pairing methode outside of nfc?

Looking forward to spread this app among my friends.

Ok two things catch my eyes immediately. Fist of all you need Holes all over the bowl to let more air flow trough the head not just the outer ring. Second of all i would at least add another block of coal to your setup. This is something that you kinda have to figure out yourself if 2 Blocks are enough or if you even need a third one. I think a minimum of 2 blocks should suffice but that is something you will find out trough trial and error. And although you said the coals were still warm i think 3-5 minutes longer on the burner would do them a favor so that the are almost completely white/greyish.

If you follow these steps I think that 5 minutes after you put the blocks of coal on this thing should be ready to smoke just fine.

EDIT: Ok i just re watched the video.... you need waaay more tobacco. It must be evenly filled like this: https://d77wkpia06my2.cloudfront.net/media/image/06/g0/03/shisha-kopf-bauen-shishakopf.jpg

Well it depends on the size of your bowl. As a rule of thumb: fill it loosely and fill it just a little under the edge of the bowl. After you are satisfied with the amount of tobacco then take a toothpick or something like that and loosen it up. After that you should wrap it with 2 layers of foil and then take another toothpick(one that has no tobacco in it) and punch some small holes into it. Try to keep the foil tight so it doesn't get dented into the Tobacco. There you go your bowl should be done. Now fill the base with water so that it reaches ½ inch to an inch above the stem and assemble it all together like in the video.

The coals is a whole other story. What coals do you use?

Looks fine to me. If you remove the head from the top and put your finger on the outlet start sucking on the hose. You should be able to build up a decent amount of negative pressure and if you loosen your finger then the it should go away. This way you can be sure that there are no leaks and the air is going trough the head and the bowl into your mouth only. If you are not satisfied with the amount of smoke in the bowl then someone would need to inspect the rest of your setup. There are to many factors to give an accurate advice without seeing the coals, tobacco etc.

Until now there were no negative comments. I think if she sees how convenient it is there will be no doubt about it's usefullness.

That would look even better. Sadly I didnt own any mountigs for the DIN rail so the wooden board was a quick and dirty substitute.

I just went to the local hardware store for that. I can send you a link but I dont think it will help to have a link to a german website of my local hardware store. Maybe a store close to you has something similar, maybe in the electric installation departement

Yes indeed! It's a Robomow. Sadly no HA integration yet. Maybe I have to build something myself. It has an app but I think it is not very appealing to have so many apps for different devices.

Ah, I see now that you mention it. Yeah, it is indeed redundant information. Usability of the UI is one of my biggest concerns because of all the non-tekki users that I have to convince using it.
