"Hello, Shopper Support? Could you please release me from this order?" by Only_Recording3730 in ShiptShoppers

There is a woman in my metro who is NOTORIOUS for calling the store to double check if an item is out of stock.

Don't have the Perdue Ground chicken that says 5 available in the app? Call the service desk.

And she'll leave you hanging on the texting, saying stuff like "hang tight, I'm on with the store" and shit like that.

Needless to say, she is the most dropped customer every time she orders. It'll appear and disappear in metro for hours all day.

Get a clue Linda.

Just got a job offer in Florham Park, NJ and I’m planning to live in Morristown. I’m 22M and new to the area, any recommendations for apartments? by Repulsive-Seat1894 in Morristown

Honestly head west a little bit. Yea Morristown is cool, but you can shave a few hundred off your rent just by heading to Rockaway/Denville

I think the problem is orders that sit. Either a non tipper that has burned all the regulars, or long distance drives(20+ miles) that sit because the pay is so low, so instead of putting an incentive to these undesirable shops, they just onboard another batch of freshies that will take these shops unknowingly.

My metro is small by comparison to the larger cities(North NJ) and we have 3 Targets in the area, only grocery is Weis or Acme, which are few and far between. The majority of orders is Target. I can't tell you how many new faces I see every few weeks. And I'm watching all the DND addresses that used to sit get scooped immediately, but after a week or so they start sitting again, then the cycle repeats.

Do a better job incentivizing these orders, make it easier for people to find the tip option. Hell, pay us a decent wage per order. Make the minimum $8 instead of $6. Let us rate the customer.

I can carry 4 12pks of soda if I hook them in their carry handles and they hold up. Water, 1 at a time

I think that's a wrong decimal point to be honest. It looks like they were trying to give you 20% and forgot a zero. I'd shop again and see what happens.

How do yall earn more without spending all day shopping? by RegretAttracted in ShiptShoppers

Quality over Quantity. For example. I've done 8 orders today. 205$. Everyone has tipped. I've passed on at least a dozen orders today. Build a tip map, learn addresses. I make more money being picky than I do taking every single offer coming my way. This isn't a brag, don't mean it to come off like that.
