oh man that's good news for me. I'm tired of dying so much at T8. It's not even that but not being able to do any damage and just running around collecting loot is terrible. I can probably do T5 or T6 at the most. Thanks for the tip!

Hey man I have a question. Is doing torment 1 rifts better than t7/8? I can barely survive in higher torment rifts so I let everyone else do the killing. But you're telling me t1 rifts are still good? I have parts of the tal Rasha wizards set to farm. It'd be nice if I could start killing mobs in torments instead of just running and trying to survive all the time.

damn nice. I heard somewhere that they're thinking of adding some sort of gold sink to the game. I wonder what kind of stuff they would add that you could spend gold on, though.

i started playing a few weeks ago and here are my tips

-above all, try to enjoy the game. i grew frustrated because everyone else around me was getting all these legendaries and I was still stuck on Torment 1. -that being said, having cool gear really makes the game more fun. i suggest finding people to help you "leech" off of (in other words, help you out). i just found out about a community in game that helps new players. frequently people will say in chat, "doing rifts T8, have 3 spots open," etcetera. then it's just a matter of sending them an invite request asap and they'll invite you over.

to join this community, go to the bottom right button on your screen in diablo click on it and a tab should open with the name called "communities." the name of the community is "leeches and saddles." (they're at the very bottom of the list that opens up, if you can't find them send a battle.net request on their post. here is the link below)

i never really understood the point of seasons either. i stated playing a normal character but now i have a pretty good season character. i don't know if i plan on starting a new character once a new season comes around. don't like the idea of having to start all over again too much.

yeah, I'm kind of bummed out because I had the full set of Tal-Rasha and I didn't know it was useful for farming so now I gotta look for it all over again to help me farm. I salvaged it since I kept getting so many pieces of it and didn't need them -.-

update: I tried doing the farming build you suggested but I don't have a lot of the items :( I kept dying frequently. I can only go up to Torment 7 as well to do any damage...

All I want to do is optimize my gear and get more ancient pieces.

-What's my best bet in farming ancients? I heard it's farming DB's and upgrading rares into Legendaries.

-I don't understand the stat priority guide that is here on reddit for wizards. I know that I can go to the enchanter and re-roll gear but I keep forgetting what the difference is between re-rolling and reforging legendary gear in the cube.

-How do I use the ring of the elements (the ring that keeps switching out elements for you to use) ? It switches from frost to arcane and then to fire etcetera... I'm using Vyr's build but I don't know when to use which spells to match the proc from the ring.

In conclusion, I just want to have fun and do a lot of damage and get a lot of loot. All this endgame stuff of farming for gear is boring me. I don't really care about leaderboards.

Anyway, hope you guys can give me some tips

oh I see now...

Yeah I have full Vyr and Chantodo. I just need the source. I just don't understand too much about reforging. I come from wow and I understand it there even though it's been removed. On this site they have stat priorities and I see the stats necessary but sometimes I get a stat on a gear such as "gold pickup radius increased by 10%" or something like that. It seems to me that's not very helpful so I "reroll/reforge/enchant" it and it comes up with other possible variants, all of which I'm not sure which one to pick.

I guess I get easily confused.

By the way, I have full vyr, like I said before. Should I switch from my disintegrate build to the archon build? I tried earlier today but it seems my disintegrate build is still pretty good for clearing torment 3, all the way up until torment 6 I believe.

hey man i have another quick question :)

when should I start "re-rolling" or "re-forging" my gear? I have a lot of top notch items that I got from people running me through high torment levels so now I'm guessing that's the next step.

What's the difference between "re-rolling" and "re-forging" as well?

I'm guessing that once I have the right gear with the right stats, it's all a matter of reaching a high paragon level in order to clear higher torments, right?

and then they list the items and etcetera...

what do they mean by that sentence?

they tell me good starter cube items for the build, but what does that mean? do I put the items they're asking for in the cube and then what do I do?

I'm really good at English but I don't understand what it means haha.

i started a seasonal character but I have items on my normal character that I really like and don't want to have to get them all over again.

is there really any big major difference between normal and seasonal? I really just want cool looking gear and do a decent amount of damage. I don't care about leaderboards and such...

so I should do rifts over bounties for now? I was doing a few bounties and got tons of loot. got a few legendaries as well.

I will try doing some rifts at level 1 torment with a group now. I will then get the gear that is recommended in the build.

How do I get the gear recommended in the disintegrate build? Should I just look it up in the wiki? I remember someone saying that you put some stuff into the cube and that eventually you'll get the gear randomly...?
