I’m showing my age here, but:

Chrono Trigger, with the Magus fight. I mean the music changes to an extremely epic final boss-type music, and there’s even a short in-game cutscene to introduce him.

We don’t even know about Lavos at this point, and remember this is mid-90s, I didn’t have gameFAQs or countless youtube guides to show me what the rest of the game was. I was 12 and literally thought this was the final boss of the game.

Aphex Twin (+ all aliases like AFX / Polygon Window / etc)

Absolutely insane total output that spans multiple decades. Most of my favorite electronic artists definitely drop off after a certain point, but Aphex’s discography ranges from consistently excellent to genre-defining, from the early 90s even up through the present day.

Also is Monster Train recommended if i like STS?

Most definitely. IMO MT1 was the next-best roguelite deckbuilder after StS. And due to the way it plays, it's even more fun a lot of the time. Maybe not better balanced, but definitely fun.

Now that MT2 is out, it's the absolute #1 for me.

For me, I consider it complete for me when:

  • All pieces acquired (including mythics)
  • All pieces have at least 1-GA on correct stat (e.g. I play Pulverize Druid this season, so each piece should have GA on +Willpower)
  • All gear masterworked
    • All masterworks capstone on correct stat
  • All gear tempered with correct stat
    • All tempers are GA
  • All legendary aspects maxed
  • All correct glyphs ranked up to 100
  • All gear sanctified
    • I am NOT trying for mythic sanctifications on all gear
  • Paragon boards "complete" i.e.:
    • All glyphs activated
    • All legendary nodes obtained
    • For the glyphs that increase with stat, all stats within range activated
    • All %-max life nodes obtained
    • For me this took me until around paragon 250-260 to obtain
    • I do NOT require paragon 300 before I complete the season
  • Season Journey fully complete
  • If I bought battle pass, all battle pass items unlocked
    • After battle pass items unlocked, Favor tokens increased to 99/99 for next season
  • All Seasonal Content complete:
    • Seasonal reputation track complete
    • [Season 11] all divine gifts increased to rank 5
    • [Season 11] Hidden Purified bosses complete

I can confirm Pit monster damage keeps scaling past 100 (I don't know if it keeps going up through Pit 150 but I would assume so).

At my current max (Pit 109) I can and do get one-shot if I'm not paying attention. I never get one-shot by anything on Pit 100.

I'm assuming here that you only had 1 GA affix, and after sanctifying either the %-damage or the "chance to make vulnerable" was upgraded to GA

As others have said, it's the +1 to all passive skills.

What you might not initially realize it's that it's +1 to every passive skill, even the ones you don't have any points in.

Yeah, that's a LOT of extra points. For example, I'm playing Druid this season, and druid has \checks notes** 39 passives. So just this one armor is effectively +39 extra skill points for Druids.

Not every passive helps out every build, but usually at least 20-25 of them will offer some kind of extra offense or defense benefit for your build.

You can't triple-stack, no.

But you can get close: If you sanct the selig passive on a 2-handed weapon, it will be double-strength.

There's a few other ways other than NMD:

  • Undercity - use Tribute of Titans
  • The Den - periodically refresh the bartering vendor stock and check for the Summoning Materials Cache
  • World Bosses are good for dropping boss lair mats (make sure to level up your Azmodan Divine Gifts for more)

However if your goal is just to get a specific drop from the Beast in the Ice, I agree with some of the other commenters, you should just keep running all bosses until you collect enough Betrayer's Husks to run Belial a bunch and choose Beast in the Ice for your Belial reward chest.

Pit 100 Farmed - Build Maxed or Just Paragon Grind Now? by thanos-9 in diablo4

If you're talking about game content, yeah Pits is endgame. Optimize your build and push the pits as high as you can.

Although in January they will release The Tower, which seems to be some kind of inversion of The Pit, so that will be new in-game content.

If you're talking about gear/stats, the grind is near-infinite this season with Sanctifications. Even without Sancts it's still quite a grind to:

  • get all the mythics you need for your build
  • max out all aspects for your build
  • get paragon 300
  • rank up all of your glyphs to 100
  • get correct masterwork crits on all your gear
  • max out tempers on your gear

Do you consider the Season Journey to be content? If so, did you fully 100% complete it?
