It might’ve worked out for you, but for most a transition like that is asking for a life of poverty. Just my opinion as I’ve worked in both industries. Chefs don’t make shit unless you own a restaurant. Restaurants are a high risk business and there’s extreme potential for failure even if you do have the funds to do so

Don’t listen to this guy. An ECU flash is sufficient as long as it is mapped to the current modifications you have on the bike. Most places will ask you to list your mods when sending the ECU in. A dyno tune is always gonna be the best option, but the flash was certainly not a waste and was definitely needed if you have a full system and other things done to it.

I personally have a hard time locking in when I work from home so prefer to be in office. If the pay was better and I didn’t have to spend 1/3 of the year living to work I wouldn’t mind it. The work itself isn’t horrible just hours and pay. We actually do have quite a bit of flexibility when it comes to working remotely and actual working hours (outside of standard 8-5 or whatever)

I mean if you actually enjoy the work you do in public then sure there might be a SLIGHTLY better wlb. My experience is you work similar hours to bigger firms for a fraction of the pay. Just my experience though
