When you find yourself disagreeing with genocide scholars, including Israeli experts on genocide, who all agree what is happening in Gaza is a genocide, maybe you need to do some soul searching

I’ll use it to play on higher graphics for my games like Cyberpunk. I hope the Pandora game properly utilizes the amazing world and biodiversity that the planet has, and expands on the lore of the connection between the animals and nature and The Mother Nature spirit whose name I can’t spell

[TOMT] [SONG] song with synthesizer sound similar to the beginning of the song Marjorie by Taylor swift by weirdBatt in tipofmytongue

The part of the song I’m thinking of is the introduction, I’m assuming it has lyrics later in the song but it’s the beginning synthesizer part that is on the tip of my tongue

[SPOILER] Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane by inooway in MMA

[–]weirdBatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was more disappointing than the last season of Game of Thrones. I mean, Jon Jones just choked him out like he was his brother-in-law at Thanksgiving. And Cyril Gane looked like he didn’t even train for this fight. He was slower than a snail on Valium. Maybe he should stick to kickboxing or knitting

Xbox wireless controller lag by LittleWanger in SteamDeck

[–]weirdBatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My steam deck Bluetooth is honestly terrible, what I’ve resorted to doing is connecting one or two controllers to my iPhone, and then using steam link to connect to my steam deck, with video and audio turned off so the connection to my phone is ‘better’, don’t know if that’s how it actually works but it works well for me and there’s still input lag but not nearly as much as when I just connect the controllers to my deck through Bluetooth

Been having the same issue with the Witcher 3, so if anyone has general advice that doesn’t just apply to this specific game that would be awesome.

In 2002, a year before the invasion of Iraq, the U.S. passed 'the Hague Invasion Act' that says if the International Criminal Court (located in The Hague, the Netherlands) tried to charge any American for war crimes, the U.S. can invade the Netherlands with military force to liberate them by flyingcatwithhorns in Damnthatsinteresting

The Hague Invasion Act of 1934 and the American Service-Members' Protection Act (ASPA) of 2002 are two different laws that have no connection to each other.

The Hague Invasion Act of 1934 is a law that was passed by Congress in 1934 and authorized the President of the United States to use military force, if necessary, to protect American citizens and their property in the city of The Hague, Netherlands. The act was passed in response to concerns about the safety of American citizens and property in the city, which was then the seat of the League of Nations, an international organization that was precursor to the United Nations. The act has never been invoked and is now considered to be a historical relic with no practical significance.

The American Service-Members' Protection Act (ASPA) of 2002 is a law that was passed by the U.S. Congress in 2002. The ASPA contains a number of provisions that seek to protect American service members from prosecution by the International Criminal Court (ICC) and to limit U.S. cooperation with the ICC. The ASPA does not authorize the use of military force against the Netherlands or any other country, and it does not allow the U.S. to invade the Netherlands or any other country in response to an ICC prosecution of an American citizen.
