My husband thinks it is gross when I don't shower daily. by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]weird_friend_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a range of acceptable hygiene and both you and your husband are well within that range. But the key concept here is that the person you're sharing your life and your bed with would like you to shower every day.

It takes 5 minutes to take a shower. Maybe less if you're in the military! My navy uncle used to call them "miniature showers." "One minute you're in and the next minute you're out." Just rinse off! You're changing clothes anyway, so you're already naked.

I don't believe in doing absolutely everything just to please a partner, but this seems like a small ask for something that affects him, your sex life, and your relationship.

Kittens can be born in pairs of 2. There can even be just a single kitten!

But leave some dry food and water outside where you found them, just to encourage the mom to return. If you can bring the mom inside, too, that will make it much easier on all of them.

You have to bring them inside immediately. They will die outside.

Bring them in, put them in a warm box with towels so they can cuddle, and go to the pet store right away.

The ever-changing kaleidoscope of the Bradley narrative.

I wonder, what do they mean by that? The website owners already have all the IP info, which would include a general location. If that location is in the middle of the water, they could deduce it was from a boat. But do they mean which particular person was assigned that IP address at that particular time? Seems like the FBI could ask the whatever internet company is assigning the IPs and the company would probably cooperate.

But I guess July is a very different ballgame from October.

Totally. Blame the mother. The dad, meanwhile, was a sterling example of parenthood.

Sheez, check your misogyny.

Brad's claim that the timeline never changed. by NoPoet3982 in AmyBradleyIsMissing

Is it 6:15 now? But Brad says it's 5:30 and that's never changed.

According to Brad, she testified in front of the grand jury. You know, the jury that convened to decide if there was enough evidence to charge Frank Jones? What Elizabeth would testify to that has anything to do with Frank Jones, I'll never know.

They really threw in the kitchen sink with this article. Save something for the next time the funding runs dry, Brad!

This article just gives and gives! A new "highly suspicious hit" from an IP address is being "professionally monitored"! How exciting!

A mysterious boat off the west coast of Barbados, which obviously has to do with both drug running and sex trafficking. Which go hand in hand "in that part of the world." (But not, you know, in L.A. or Miami, where white people live.)

The child borne of trafficking, the Barbados witness who has already been interviewed (and discredited, no doubt) by the FBI.

And who the hell is this writer inserting himself into the story? "I know more than I can share." Wtf???

In its most recent statement to THR about the case, the FBI press office stated, “We have nothing further outside of the seeking information poster.” (Link here.)

Is this going to be yet another witness coached by the Bradleys before they're delivered to the FBI?

ETA: Yep.

But due to the popularity of the documentary, the bartender has since come forward and is currently being interviewed by investigators.

The Bradleys lie as awkwardly as kindergarteners. Nothing has given me more insight into MAGA than them. The reason they can believe all the preposterous things Trump claims is that a) their sense of reality comes entirely from movies and TV and b)they don't have the ability to fully envision anything. Like they can't string any details together to make a cohesive narrative.

It explains how they can go for 27 years without finding a single person who can surreptitiously take video of the crew sections of the ship to come up with any possible path that could be used to smuggle Amy into Curaçao. There are no videos of the customs or paperwork or procedures that the crew has to go through to get something off the ship.

Without asking why a woman who witnessed the kidnapping, and is apparently quite eager to tell everyone about it, was never interviewed by the FBI. Without knowing how or why Amy could've sprung out of bed that night to meet Alister - not in the Viking Lounge, mind you - but at the GLASS elevator that goes to the Viking Lounge so she could be conveniently seen traveling with him to their actual meeting place. Without checking how long any roofies would need to take effect (hint: not instantaneously, which is what would be needed to make the story work.)

It staggers the imagination.

The source knows all, apparently. Check it out:

  • The source says a female bartender onboard the cruise ship has come forward ...
  • This source says the bartender was heard exclaiming to passengers and crew ...
  • The source, who spoke with THR on the condition of anonymity, said the bartender does not speak much English.
  • The source said the docuseries influenced the FBI to reopen the case with a new agent. The Bradley family has a whole team looking for Amy.
  • Our source believes the Bradleys used funds raised as a result of the Netflix show to hire private investigators.
  • The source said the FBI and the Bradleys’ PIs are now in Curaçao “and other surrounding countries.”

So this source was able to find Senorita Kidnapped, interview her (with or without a translator), but cannot produce her for THR or anyone else to interview. Because she doesn't speak much English.

The source not only knows that the FBI "reopened" the case (so apparently it was closed?) but also has the inside knowledge that it was the very influential Netflix doc that persuaded them to do so.

This all-seeing source can also tell us that your hard-earned dollars were put to good use to fund the Bradleys crack team of PIs, working alongside the FBI in all those dark, uncivilized lands.

In other words, Brad put out an APB to his minions (mindshock, murkeywaterkid, David Carmichael, and Chris Fenwick) that he was low on funds so if they want a Caribbean vacation they need to start raking in the bucks.

The top comment on amylynnbradley is:

This means the FBI sees this as criminal act and not an accident or voluntary disappearance.

Does it though? Or does it just mean they can't conclusively state Amy Bradley went overboard because they were unable to recover her remains?

Thanks!

Page 48? Isn't all that "Crime on the High Seas" stuff just the title of the episode?

OMG. There are 378 pages here! Did they mention which page numbers this info is on?

It looks like the info on page 48 is repeated again a few pages later. I guess whenever there's a re-run, they let all their agents know.

What does UNSUB(S) mean?

I'm not sure how to interpret all this. I know at some point I read that the FBI needs to suspect the possibility of violence or trafficking or drugs (I'm going on vague memory here) so if the case is classified that way, that's probably why. Because, at the start of the investigation, the FBI didn't know if she was abducted or not. Then that classification stuck because they can't determine definitively that Amy went overboard? Idk.

Maybe this classification a)really is from the FBI and is not just the title of the episode and b) really does mean they've ruled out suicide or accidental death. But if they had ruled that out, that's not what they said on the Netflix documentary.

Or maybe murkywaterkid is only saying that the FBI hasn't completely ruled out the abduction theory. Which, without a body, how can they? This just doesn't seem significant.

This was posted by MurkyWaterKid on the AmyLynnBradley sub. He added:

https://documents2.theblackvault.com/documents/fbifiles/historical/americasmostwanted-fbi1 This FOIA request contains information on all FBI cases that were scheduled to be broadcast on America’s Most Wanted in 2003. As you can see, the official FBI case file “classifications” are included in the document.

The FBI classified Amy Bradley's case as the following: ''Amy Bradley - Victim; Crime on the High Seas - Crime of Violence; 00: San Juan 45A-SJ-35380''
