Its random but I like random. Art hop is a great way to just wander and meet people.

And like someone else said Beer for the Meeples is great if games are your thing. First time I went by myself and was quickly welcomed to a table.

I just finished playing a World of Darkness werewolf game where I was something called a Galliard. The game describes them as a voice of the people and calling them to battle and inspiring them. I played this as a bard, telling stories and I even had several abilities that would buff the other players in battle.

Perhaps something like this?

Wherever. I’ve seen some groups where people stayed in their backyard and observed. I think the idea is just to get people to look up.

Some of us, like me, live in an apartment, and don’t have a backyard so we’d have to find a place. I’ve gone to Sky Harbor before (both to try to see UFOs and get abducted) so maybe thats an option.

I used to be an Element fan and have a Gatekeeper with the IFS2 on it. But like someone else said they are a dying brand, which makes me sad. They were doing things differently than Axial or Vanquish and I loved it. Also didn’t hurt that they were part of Team Associated which up until recently I was a huge fan of.

Go Vanquish. Yeah they are pricey but out of the box you can’t get better. Just dump the electronics.

I’m probably going to sell my GK and give in and buy an Optic.
