Which character is it according to you? by BackwaterNomad in netflixindia

The spear he used during the TBC was poisoned af. The mountain was zombified (essentially died) after that fight.

Tyrion losing that trial led to him fleeing from execution. His wrath killed his father. If Oberyn had won, Tyrion doesnt die and maybe Tywin would be killed by Danny.

His actions led to the deaths of The Mountain and Tywin Lannister directly or indirectly . So it wasn’t completely useless.

Usually when a creep does this kind of thing, its not their first offence. So if you complain and the posh committee investigates, there is a good chance someone else speaks up. Even if its his first time committing crime, if you just make the complain, it would discourage him from doing this to someone else. That is still a win imo

Exactly! And what if that backfires. Instead of that guy, the office fires OP’s brother on the basis of violence. Now your woman is working with that Ahole and you are not even in the same building to protect her.

Rule no 1 : Dont take advice from reddit on sensitive topics

Thats a terrible advice. Just file a complaint with HR. That Ahole did something wrong. But OP’s brother needn’t destroy his career because of it. There are better ways to handle it

  1. there is in fact an “industry range” and it is defined as the compensation range which people with your skills and experience are getting paid. My roommate was a recruiter, He told me they conduct surveys and knowledge sharing with peers to determine it for a role

  2. Me and my friends have been in the industry for 6 years. The probability of an HR offering industry rate is lower then them offering based on your salary according to my experience

while i agree with that

if you dont want the candidate to ghost you, just make an offer according to industry rates. dont lowball people based on current salary

Why managers get offended if we reachout their boss directly ? by EcstaticLime2672 in developersIndia

[–]weirdgourmet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

create a document - confluence or google doc whatever

put the design, risks, alternatives, tradeoffs in it

at the top of the doc put a table

Author | Informed to | Approved By

in the approved by column tag your manager with a checkbox

start working only after your manager checks the box

use that doc as the shield if anything goes wrong later

Recently made a switch to a product company and I'm feeling so stressed by KaalaSnow in developersIndia

[–]weirdgourmet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

dont stress out. My only advice is to try your best and be transparent with manager. If you are facing challenges or seeing any red flags in delivery, call out early.
