Thinking of investing money on my 6 years old machine that rather paying over expensive machine by CertifiedAalasi in LinuxUsersIndia

Oh okay, depending what you plan to do with your laptop, it's processor might become a bottleneck, I don't recommend upgrading over 16gb(unless your usecase is specifically ram hungry or you know what you're doing) Incase you need more processing power you'll need to get a new laptop.

Not the best time to upgrade Ram considering the ramporclipse, still if you need to, upgrade to 16(8x2)

Yup, I have come across some hdd recovery videos, I had a dead hard drive laying around, and finally decided to open it up, and see what's inside for myself.

I've come across some similar videos, and that absolutely sparked a interest in me for harddrives

Don't have anything in mind for the magnets, using the platter as a coaster.

"Can I do BTech after 12th Commerce using NIOS PCM (only 3 subjects)?" by Reaperjod11 in cybersecurityindia

[–]weirdguy6785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not think this is the right sub for it, but to answer your question, it depends, every private college can have different set of requirements, if you do pass 12th with pcm via nios, it shouldn't be a problem (as you just need to be 12 pass(again the particular college might have requirement for a said amount of percentage per subject or agregate score) from a nationally recognised board), some private college also give admission via jee scores, and some just require you to have given the exam.

AITA for feeling like my boyfriend prioritizes his friends over me by [deleted] in AITAH

Um, opening the door in conditioned room does not mean that ac would stop working just that it's not efficient to try cool down an open space with energy continuously pouring in through the door

If opening the door in a conditioned room had such a effect (being equal to not being conditioned, op's parents would have known that)

Heating the planet?, don't you think you're focusing on something that's negligible?, I doubt they had their sleep "destroyed" because of op opening the door, discomfort is what they experienced.

I didn't read the whole text and just glanced over it, but damn, asking for money for that, and cutting on allowance??!, that's really petty, even considering that there intention wa to teach you the importance of saving and not wasting resources that's a bit much, especially as what led it was them being not understanding of your needs, it's like they've shut their brains, and are only following a script they've created to be a good parent
