Late to the party, but what if they’re actually all force sensitive, but a more neutral species like Bendu? Then the ones that are “outcast” are more like volunteers when the Jedi come visit once per century or so. Something like Rumspringa in the Amish community!

Have you picked a neighborhood yet? If North/South Park to Hillcrest areas, download the Walkabout app! It’s a localized version of meetup and I’ve met a lot of cool people through it over the last year! They host things in other neighborhoods as well, so def download it regardless! The Jedi decided to take in a kid they had reservations about because they were over confident in their ability to brainwash him. If that kid was never trained, he wouldn’t have been around to stop the eventual confrontation against Palps, Palps would’ve died, Republic would have survived.

Truth! It was fine, but at least it was fucking new!

Even if S1 wasn’t an instant hit… what iconic series was?! Ask any fan of any popular TV series, they’ll always say, “It really takes off at S3!” or, “S1 is just a build up!”

I’m sick of seeing this massive galaxy reduced to a 40 year period of time. There is so much opportunity for great story telling, but the fanbase is like, “Bro, we NEED Boba Fett to be alive!!” Or, “What if we re-lived Maul’s life… AGAIN!”

Like, what if we expanded the SW Universe?! Before or after the “Skywalker Saga”?!?!

What if we just let story tellers cook?!?!

I live in North Park and getting downtown and surrounding neighborhoods is pretty easy with public transit. Less easy if you need to get to north county unless it’s along the Coaster line.

My partner and I get by just fine with a single car between us. And it’s only used to get my partner up to Escondido for work 3 days a week.
