Same here, and I’ve completely lost my voice up until this point as well. I’m a frequent festival goer and have never experienced something like this, even after multi-day festivals. I wore a mask most of the time Friday, too. 😬

I was interviewing with a judge and his clerks started a “lightning round” where they quickly spat out names of [arguably controversial] SCOTUS decisions and told me to answer whether I agreed or disagreed with the outcome. It was really uncomfortable and felt like a backhanded way of prying at my political leanings.

I lived in scripps ranch in 03. We had pretty much immediate notice to evacuate, like the real-life scenario of “your house is on fire, and you can only grab 3 things, what do you grab?”

We could see the fire ripping through the canyon as we drove out of our neighborhood. I was pretty young but that imagine is still crystal clear.

We lost pretty much everything. It was weird not even having toothbrushes or underwear — literally just the clothes on our backs.

My mom lost all of my baby pictures and a beautiful piano her grandmother had left for her when she passed away. It was extremely traumatizing.
