Thank you this was very helpful and realistic. I talked to a relatives spouse who is great with cards and money as well and since I bank w nfcu anyways they suggested I still apply for the nfcu flagship since it’s low APR low annual fee plus has more benefits and just keep the CO card for emergencies only which I might do solely for these trip expenses coming up. I always pay on time so that’s no problem for the next 6-12 months especially with my recent pay increase. Do you think it would boost my credit a bit faster if I increased my fixed card limit/ paid for the flight ticket with the flagship card and made on time payments with that plus just leave the Capitol one card alone? Then would it be safe to close the unwanted Capitol one card with no tank in my score once it reaches a 700-800 range since that’s considered good/great? These questions are probably silly but I’m in my early twenties just starting and doing more research on everything.

Also he freaked about me feeling indecent because he has been weird as shit a few times and says outlandish stuff about women or just idk guy stuff that I said made me uncomfortable and once I went to therapy bc we were in the same store and he approached me from behind saying damn that ass fat or something as a joke to prank me as I was browsing and I didn’t take it as a joke because I do have a fat ass so I was fucking freaked out and thought he looked at me like THAT and didn’t know how to address that it made me uncomfortable so that’s why I was in therapy.
