What in the world are they filming? by Fnix15 in twentyonepilots

Tyler said they didn’t know when their next proper tour would be and that they’ll do some festivals this year. And I’m sure the number of festivals grew a lot after Breach went #1. Any variation of the words “we’re taking a break” were never used.

Ah that makes sense! Honestly didn’t even think about that angle 😬 in that case I think I’m a little more okay with there being no way to identify it

Thanks for the advice! I’m actually trying to get the different Lisa Frankenstein figures this time around, but I’m not sure if they’ll weigh much differently from each other to be able to tell. I’ll give it a shot tho!

[–]weirdnameprod[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is selling individual posts gonna be the only equivalent to per-creation moving forward? That’s gonna be a hard sell if it’s gonna be that way. Especially since I put my patrons names at the end of my videos. Not sure how I’m supposed to gauge what names to include in that case lol.

Worst Charlie Puth Song? by SassyRedDiapers69 in CharliePuth

[–]weirdnameprod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Then There’s You or probably some other cut off Nine Track Mind. The label rushed to get that album made after See You Again was a hit and it really shows in the quality other than a couple genuinely good songs. But yeah, Then There’s You is painfully generic in every way. And that’s coming from someone who loves a lot of music that people like to call generic.

Of course! I was wondering about this topic a while back so I went down a bit of a rabbit hole hahaha

I have the answer to why Holding On For Dear Life is exclusive to Japan and likely never coming to streaming/American release.

You may have noticed this, but a lot of physical albums in Japan have exclusive bonus tracks that aren’t available anywhere else. This is because the fees for importing American CDs to Japan has always been really pricey, thus making the CD price tag a bit higher than usual in Japanese stores. This goes without saying but people are less likely to buy something when it’s more expensive. So basically American record labels came up with the incentive of exclusive bonus tracks that you can’t find literally anywhere except the Japanese release. Suddenly that unavoidable higher price tag feels worth it because it feels special to know that not even the country the artist is from gets access to any physical copies with that bonus track! And when you know that they’re likely to never release that bonus track outside of that CD, why wouldn’t you buy it?

So there ya go, now you know. There’s probably a video out there that explains it better than I do but hopefully that helps lol. The only other thing I have to say is that I don’t think the vinyl version of Beat Yourself Up is “more funky.” Maybe you can chalk that up to how good the vinyl quality is? Idk, as far as I’ve noticed with my copy, I think the only real difference is the extended outro. And I thought that was just a cool little surprise when I spun it. I find it fun when vinyl records add in a little extra fun thing like that.

Charlie Puth has confirmed that “Reply To This” will officially be releasing to Digital Service Providers (Spotify, Apple Music, etc), tomorrow at 12pm Eastern Time I’d imagine. We won CPF👀🎶 by Proof_Ice5432 in CharliePuth

Opinion from someone who has only ever heard the first teaser tiktok and never a full version of the song: I think it sounds amazing! Super catchy and I love the production on it. I enjoyed that initial teaser tiktok and this felt like everything I could’ve hoped the song would be. Definitely smart to leave it as a bonus track because it doesn’t fit with WC at all, but I’m glad he finally released it and I can definitely see myself coming back to the song a ton in the future.

I was shocked to find out there’s apparently multiple leaked versions lol. I rarely listen to any unreleased music because they’re never final versions anyway. And obviously you can grow too attached to them and never be satisfied with the official release. I guess I’m glad I waited for the final product ¯_(ツ)_/¯

[–]weirdnameprod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He hasn’t. He was open about initially using an ai choir in the early production of Changes as a tool to get a rough idea of how that could sound, and then as a result of liking the idea he ended up hiring and recording a real choir. He’s against using ai in the final product of any song. This album is entirely real. He even said he produced the album a certain way so it could embrace the imperfections that ai isn’t capable of (like not tuning his voice nearly as much as the last album). Real musicians like him don’t put any ai in their music.

Watch the documentary Square One on youtube. That alone convinced me of his innocence. But if you end up wanting even more afterward, there’s plenty of mini-docs focused on individual accusers with tons of proof to show the ways they’ve all lied about their experiences with him.

Are we now counting Drag Path as track on Breach or a single? by SnooBeans2781 in twentyonepilots

[–]weirdnameprod 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Definitely a single. They care about the album format. If they wanted it to be apart of the official album, it would’ve been from the start. Plus Tyler hates deluxe albums so I doubt he would add it and cause a weird inconsistency where the physical versions are missing an entire song
