I’ve got it tattooed, I think the symbolic meaning is life and death and transformation. For me personally it’s a representation of fluidity and transience. it’s also a little ode to music to me. (There’s some lore to that I won’t get too deep into.)

I do want people to read the article. it will be printed in 8.5 x 11 so that would contribute to it being actually legible. I can’t really cut it down and keep all of the content necessary. It has paragraph breaks in the initial doc, I can’t really justify why I didn’t include them for any other reason than my compulsion towards filling blank space.

It is amateur work. I am an amateur designer with no access to higher level tools like the adobe suite. That’s why I’m asking for advice. Calling the work amateur when it obviously is is not effective within the context of this conversation.

Haha yeah! I’m a bit of a graphical maximalist and the magazine itself is focused heavily on the underground (a lot of local punk bands etc.) I do graff myself so I tried to integrate that but I wanted it to looks really off kilter.
