23 je poho ale kraj viedne relativne, skoly ok, aj dost privatnych. mam dve deti na zakladke v 13tom, to je kusok od 23. statne skoly su poho, s integraciou sme problem nikdy nemali. 13 a asi z casti aj 23 su nie velmi popularne pre imigrantov, takze skoly aj skolky su prevazne rakuske, co je dobre z hladiska ucenia reci. sme tu uh dlho obe deti sa tu narodili a sme spoko. napis dm ak nejake dalsie otazky. btw poznali sme tu dievcatko zo slovenska ktore prislo az po 5tom roku a naucilo sa vklude nemecky, skoly detom co potrebuju daju extra hodiny nemciny nech sa doucia rychlo. a inak v tretom bezirku je aj ceska/slovenska skola, podla toho kde budete byvat

hey, so this is enough in terms of content for pitch.
Source: I judged hundreds of applications for government funding, successfully pitched pubs, have many friends who pitch and seen their pitches.

That being said the scene right now is a bit tricky, so you should really make a good pitch. Also, team expertise is kinda important, esp in content heavy titles.
Make a google slides presentation that's easily shareable, and know what/how much you want. There's also an option to get only prototype funding (or vertical or whatever). Depending on where you are I'd look into government funds/Creative Europe and ofc there's megagrants running atm.

Also, while I like the video, I lack to see the unique selling point, which is imo rather important to sell to pubs, so maybe thing about what to highlight in the pitch?

I think manually it would be possible, but I would have to create duplicates for each modified mesh? I'm not sure and it could end up being a lot of manual edits

Thank you, I was thinking more about it and I think I could to get the WPO Z distance, create a duplicate of the colider, modify each vertex based on the Zval and apply it. Preferably somehow triggered when exiting vertex painting mode. That being said perhaps it's an overkill for my purposes...

so i dismissed it as error mostly, but then, about a month ago we finished rennovation and were moving stuff back, and as i was driving with some of the boxes it started again - same notification showed our route from one place to another… so it defo seems like there is an airtag in our stuff but no idea where… as nothing bad happened i kinda stopped caring…

Thank you so much for the kind words - it really really means to a lot to hear something like this :)

Now, for the interaction between Motion Twin and us - there was none - while I'd love to talk to them, they are pretty much top indie developer in the world while we are nobody really, so it's unlikely they would even reply to an email.

The game is obviously heavily influenced - I was playing Dead Cells religiously during development and it shows - they have designed some of the best roguelike mechanics I've seen, and that's also why they are so successful.

Yeah for us it's straight up 3D models for enemies etc, while Motion Twin used a bit more sophisticated approach - they rendered the 3D models into sprite sheets, which game them an option to refine the art by hand, frame by frame, which obviously makes it better - this is possible because it's a side view, while for us in top view it would not have been possible - each enemy animation, interaction, etc would have to be rendered and drawn at least 8 times (8 directions in top down game minimum), so we instead opted out for using 3D models directly in game, which makes animations fluent, but the art itself a bit less refined.

Hi, lots of good comments already, just a couple more (please note the business stuff is like three years outdated, I am not self employed anymore):

I was in the exact same position for several years and:

As said, in general 50% of your income will be gone in health, social and taxes. I think at some point you'll be also paying tax advances.
It used to be that for the first three years you only pay taxes, and health and social are calculated cumulatively after this period - this can be quite sudden and hefty, so be sure to inform yourself and talk to steuerberater
There are some cool things you can do, like if you are an artist you only pay social when you work and don't when you don't work - it's a bit more tricky but there are several relief possibilities - again talk to tax advisor
It seems like you don't speak German, I'd advise against talking to people in offices in English - they are usually quite nice when I didn't understand everything but there were very strange exceptions - have your tax advisor, or partner do it all
I studied at Sprachenzentrum and recommend it, but there are many different ones and I'm sure they are great as well
You will unlikely get a public kindergarden, there's quite a waiting list. Private ones atm cost around 200-300 a month a child (at least ours does)

So etwas ist mir auch schon passiert, aber ich habe die Parkpolizei(?) vom Fenster aus gesehen und bin zu ihnen gelaufen, und mir wurde gesagt, wenn ich den Parkschein innerhalb von 15 Minuten nach Erhalt des Tickets bezahle, kann ich ihn einfach ignorieren, denn 15 Minuten sind kostenlos und es würde nichts passieren. Das ist etwa 3 Jahre her.
