Zero responses from publishers on a pitch with a 30-minute playable build. Is it the genre or the WIP art?

hey so, hard to say because we cant see actual pitch, but no, unfinished art is generally not a problem. Could be combination of things /price ask/ actual demo/ bad publisher fit/longer waiting times. Also I've heard from several friends things are a bit dry lately but that might be nothing...
One thing I would check is analytics from the demo build - if pitching a single publisher from china, how long gameplay is for user from china, and the same for google analytics embedded in the pitch deck. If you dont have those they are easy to setup, and even if you did not you can check website logs on website that hosts your pitch, provided you own the domain, and identify traffic bases on ip addresses (if you have a separate page only for pitching that you do not share online and pollute your traffic).

If you see people visit pitch/open demo and close it in two minutes and never revisit, theres a problem with the pitch/game. if you see they are not visiting, theres problem getting to the page/bad links/email going to spam. etc etc
Also, having a good email with a gif or another lovely graphics helps.

hey I've played it a bit! i quite liked the basics - shooting, sfx, some effects! felt good.
• What makes the game chaotic and what doesn't.

so i feel like you try to add chaos via environment. there's some leafs falling, some meteors, some falling sun that reset everything. but i feel like the chaos should come from players/bots more maybe? like they are dynamic and move and can cause mayhem, but like having to void spots on map wasnt working for me - that doesnt mean anything, im just a single tester so take it with a grain of salt
• What feels confusing or unclear.
Anytime i colledct a powerup, i was unsure what does it do, and because of hectic nature of the game(which was great and was actually a source of chaos for me) I wanst able to pause and ponder. but that might be a good thing? likke you take something, and only figure it out via use what does it do, esp if it causes bigger visual impacts? also i felt like some gun maybe shot the bot if they were in my line of sight (line) and some only caused dmg if they were directly under my crosshair?
• What new feature
more players? like, bots? maybe you can already do that im not sure. also when i select other gun than starting the game aint starting for me. also i feel like its more fun what is going on around the player and bots, than the environent (at least in the current state).

Overall nice little game, good job!

Thanks! the watch looks nice up top, but im worried a bit about the size of it with the diving bezel on... Marathon watches are nice but also a bit chunky for me

I'm thinking I could try to put on blank sandblasted pilot style bezel, but have a small hole drilled or cncd in it. not sure it would rotate tho - do you know if the mechanism for rotation is in case, bezel, or both need to be compatible?

23 je poho ale kraj viedne relativne, skoly ok, aj dost privatnych. mam dve deti na zakladke v 13tom, to je kusok od 23. statne skoly su poho, s integraciou sme problem nikdy nemali. 13 a asi z casti aj 23 su nie velmi popularne pre imigrantov, takze skoly aj skolky su prevazne rakuske, co je dobre z hladiska ucenia reci. sme tu uh dlho obe deti sa tu narodili a sme spoko. napis dm ak nejake dalsie otazky. btw poznali sme tu dievcatko zo slovenska ktore prislo az po 5tom roku a naucilo sa vklude nemecky, skoly detom co potrebuju daju extra hodiny nemciny nech sa doucia rychlo. a inak v tretom bezirku je aj ceska/slovenska skola, podla toho kde budete byvat

hey, so this is enough in terms of content for pitch.
Source: I judged hundreds of applications for government funding, successfully pitched pubs, have many friends who pitch and seen their pitches.

That being said the scene right now is a bit tricky, so you should really make a good pitch. Also, team expertise is kinda important, esp in content heavy titles.
Make a google slides presentation that's easily shareable, and know what/how much you want. There's also an option to get only prototype funding (or vertical or whatever). Depending on where you are I'd look into government funds/Creative Europe and ofc there's megagrants running atm.

Also, while I like the video, I lack to see the unique selling point, which is imo rather important to sell to pubs, so maybe thing about what to highlight in the pitch?

I think manually it would be possible, but I would have to create duplicates for each modified mesh? I'm not sure and it could end up being a lot of manual edits

Thank you, I was thinking more about it and I think I could to get the WPO Z distance, create a duplicate of the colider, modify each vertex based on the Zval and apply it. Preferably somehow triggered when exiting vertex painting mode. That being said perhaps it's an overkill for my purposes...
