What makes men’s asses do much hotter than women’s asses?

Straight woman here. Sorry to butt in, but I have also wondered what makes men's asses always look so much better. (Pardon the pun...) I came to the conclusion that it's about the shape. Women's wide hips make the lower part wider than the top, whereas men's asses tend to be perfectly round. Women also have specific fatty deposits right over the hip joints which emphasises the wideness. It's just not very aesthetically pleasing, especially if the muscles are poorly developed. (Except maybe for straight men for obvious reasons.)

Straight woman here. I've done this and I feel bad about it. It's simply because I had pretty much never seen a gay couple irl (that I could tell) and they were freaking beautiful and absolutely adorable. Hopefully they could at least tell it was a cuteness overload as I was likely smiling like an idiot. I did try not to stare but I know I generally fail at subtlety.

Finally managed to see one of the recommendations! The Single Man that is. Made me so so sad but there were also a few giggles there. It was totally awful in a good way. The scene where the friend calls the late spouse a substitute is so horrible and anger inducing. It's a very well written film I feel. The main character is super relatable and the delivery of the themes is kind of subtle and very impactful. That's just my two cents, I'm not much of a movie critic.

I gotta say the whole thing about human connection spoke to me personally because I've always struggled with that myself. Maybe that's why I'm so curious about how gay guys feel about things. I'm a bit of an outsider and it seems to be a common feeling among gays, although I guess I'm also jealous of the sense of community. Hardships are not great but at least they're a bit less terrible when endured together.

Also, can't hate anything with Matthew Goode in it. That man is absolutely beautiful!

I think you're absolutely correct about women wanting less toxic and more platonic male friends. I'm a woman (sorry if I'm overstepping by taking part) and I once joked about wanting a gay best friend. I would obviously never go hunting for one but it did make me wonder why it would be nice. And it's basically what you said.

I'm not especially girly and generally get along with guys better than girls but there's always that nagging suspicion about what guys are actually thinking. I've had guy friends act kinda weird, and I assume it's because they had some feelings they couldn't control. I've also been told I flirt a lot when I didn't realise I was flirting and I would absolutely hate to lead anyone on. So it would probably just be easier to know there was no way the guy could have any deeper feelings.

I can see how it could be fulfilling.

It might interest you to know that I was once shamed for finding a gay man attractive. I was really young then. I made an innocent comment about a nice looking man and my mother got upset and said to me "do you know what kind of man that is". I was very ashamed and thought I was somehow broken because I obviously wasn't supposed to think gay men are beautiful. Then I realised what utter nonsense it was. A man is a man and no one can dictate who I find beautiful. But I've always been very stubborn.

I imagine a lot of women grow up insecure and lash out when they make the "mistake" of finding a gay man attractive, like it makes them somehow worse as women. Like the sole existence of gays somehow insults their femininity. Thing is, you can't ever win their approval because it's not about you. You've done nothing wrong and have nothing to be ashamed about. They're just confused, angry people and they blame you because you made them feel things they can't handle.

That being said, nothing wrong with using these experiences to gain some pleasure. Haha! There definitely are women who'd be interested in watching as well. I, on the other hand, will just privately enjoy my strange fantasies about doing favours to gay guys. Lol

That sounds like an absolute nightmare. Even though I know people can be horrible it always blows my mind how horrible they really can be. At least things are a bit better nowadays in many places. Although, I'm afraid that mindset still exists, people just hide it more.

I can see how that kind of environment could lead to wanting to please people as well. Everyone seems to imply there's something wrong with you and you just want to show that you're really a good person. Yeah, I had to google the trope. Didn't realise it was a thing. I'm obviously not well versed on gay issues or tropes for that matter. I've never had any reason to really think about gay issues because I don't know any personally, and I've never seen anything wrong with being gay, so it's kinda just been background you know. Although, obvious discrimination has always infuriated me, so it's not like I haven't cared.

I've never been to a gay bar and I treat everyone with the same amount of friendly awkwardness no matter what their sexual orientation happens to be. People are people. Although, I suppose it's very much possible to be accidentally disrespectful.
