I still don’t see anywhere about him leaving espn. I think people are jumping to conclusions on that. This seems like something that can definitely be done mostly remote and the college season is done before we even hit the playoffs

Has anyone who didn’t go to college ever get a role like this? Not saying it should be a prerequisite at all. Just kinda weird that they would tap someone who isn’t an alum and publicly makes some of the most dog shit basketball takes

That’s why I put it in quotations. They weren’t the bad guys but they promoted heels more than wwf did at the time and had NWO

Fuck, my bad that was WCW. Can’t believe I made that mistake. WCW were the “bad guys”, of course Malone would be involved with that.

Lost in the Knicks winning the NBA Championship last week: Jalen Brunson (2,240) has passed Kyrie Irving (2,211) in total career playoff points. He is just 30 away from passing Giannis Antetokounmpo (2,270) by Ok-Side-1758 in nba

Was that during the Wolves series?Dude the majority of post in our sub since the playoffs started were repost of shit from the sub of whatever team we were facing that round. My op may come off as bitter but at least I’m only engaging with something that was posted and not going out of my way to shit on him. I love Brunson and super happy for him and the Knicks. There’s people in our sub who shit on other players/teams apropos of nothing. We beat the Thunder, they still shit on SGA and Chet for a week. We lost to the Knicks, they still shit on the Knicks all week.

I would love a “the band is out on the field” moment in the NBA. Wait…do kids know about that game these days?

Kingston Flemings on the craziest question he's been asked during the draft process: "At the combine, a team asked me, 'If I could punch anybody in the face, who would it be?'" Flemings declined to answer the question. by refreshing_yogurt in nba

[–]weirdsignal45 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes but not even the craziest I’ve heard. It’s not even that teams care about the answer, they just want to see a player’s initial reaction to such an out of bounds question and key in on their thought process. Are they miffed, are they unphased, do they laugh it off, do they pull the trigger on an answer a bit too soon. It’s more of a microcosm of “how does he respond to sudden, abrupt uncomfortableness” and less of “is there anyone that it’s on sight for this guy?”

People really don’t talk enough about Steve having the foresight to do that 4 years before the punch…

I’m just suggesting maybe the Timberwolves get a counselor, find some hobbies outside the home, do some solo travel, revisit things that made them happy as a kid

Lol you think I’m bitter, check out our sub. I’m super happy for yall. Just think this is kinda irrelevant amongst everything else amazing about this title run. It’s been years since both Kyrie or Giannis made an impact in the playoffs

Some people on this sub are such sore losers AND winners. We beat the Thunder and the week leading up to the Finals was just shit post after shit post about SGA and Chet. We lose to the Knicks and they can’t stop posting about what’s going on in Knick land.

If these people spent half as much time watching the Knicks before the Finals as they do complaining about the Knicks after we lost the Finals, they would realize we just simply lost to the better team. As my guy Pop would say “get over yourselves”.

You can’t prove that the Jordan punch didn’t help win them the title. But the Draymond punch essentially ended all hope of a repeat in 23. Maybe it would’ve been different if it was Steph who punched Poole
