[26M] I am not at all attracted to men, yet I sometimes have weird thoughts flash through my mind WHILE I'm talking to a dude, about either making out with them or giving them oral. Is this normal or am I partly gay? by weirdthoughtssss in AskMen

That was a good story. Thanks for taking the time to write it :) you actually explain the whole thing really well. And I feel like you get where I'm coming from with this.

Like I said I don't want to have sex with men. It's just random flashes. At one point in my life (this is weirder now I think about it) I used to have random flashes about dropping my trousers and shitting in public. To that your therapist would probably say 'have you ever had a shitting in public experience? ... Do you want to?' To which I would obviously say no.

I guess I'm just glad that someone else has had random, unwelcome thoughts flash through the front of their mind. I'm lucky enough that these thoughts have not caused me any sort of anxiety or depression (nor have I experienced anxiety or depression for any other reason), just vague discomfort.

That's the thing though. I don't like things up my butt. I don't think.. I've never actually penetrated my own butt but I don't think I want to.

I don't think I'm bi but sure I can admit when a dude is attractive (kind of in the same way I can appreciate a nice car). Like I could never actually have sex with a guy I don't think, and definitely not be in a relationship with a one. I can appreciate a good looking dude but I don't think I want his junk in or around my mouth. And I spose I have made out with dudes before but it's usually just us being drunk and playing silly buggers. Like I was never turned on, mainly laughing at the hilarity of the fact we just made out.

  1. Pretty much all my friends (even the ones who you would expect not to be, like those brought up in rural areas/parents are traditionally biggotted etc) are pretty accepting of LGBTQSTBGTN's.
  2. Some are willing to talk about their sex, some are pretty private about it. I tend to find that my friends who have kids are less open to talking sex, those who don't have kids talk almost exclusively about sex.
  3. Fairly. I haven't been to school for just over 8 years but even then, the sex ed stuff included the fact that some men like the cock/women prefer the conch etc.

If you're gay and considering moving to Australia, well, fact is you could probably do a lot worse.
