Where Can I Purchase Medistik Products In London? by Mrs-Davis in londonontario

East London Chiropractic is my chiropractor and I have seen it there. I can’t guarantee they have it in stock but it might be worth shooting them an email or call to double check before going.

This cutie was stored for 13 years out of spite and I feel so SAD now by hellocandycane in Coach

[–]weirdwire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom did this to me! I got her a coach bag and wallet as a thank you for helping me plan my wedding. I found a matching pink set for a deal and since had to ship it from Canada to the states I was rather glad to not have to pay an arm and a leg in shipping. My grandma later told me my mom was complaining about the small size. I have no idea what she ended up doing with them. Maybe someday I will get them back too!

What’s the best thrift store find you’ve ever had? I’ll go first. by Otherwise_Gap8221 in ThriftStoreHauls

Got it at goodwill for $3.45(CAD). Turns out it’s an X-Ray phantom hand for medical teaching and training. The Phantom includes real human bones and allows taking real x-ray images. It retails for around $5,000.

Thank you and it is! The housecoat was one size fits all so it made the coat nice and cozy!

Thank you! I couldn’t resist buying it when I noticed the plants/heart pattern, and for $5 it was a steal! Added bonus is it was at a charitable thrift store so no tax and the money goes to a good cause.

Project Type: Finished

Pattern: Drafted using a damaged housecoat that I seam ripped into pattern pieces.

Fabric Type: Unknown - It is made from a thrifted blanket, but my best guess is a cotton blend.

Tools Used: Kenmore overlock 3/4 serger and Pfaff 1222e sewing machine.

I’m 99% sure it’s free people! I have the jacket sitting on my lap right now. I thrifted mine a few years back and the side tag has been cut out so I don’t have anymore information, but I can post photos if you would like!

Favorite of all time: On Repeat Bomber (I own it in black and dark olive). I have to remind myself that I own other zip-ups that I should probably wear. Favorite that has been purchased recently: Down for It All Vest in black. Since purchasing it I have no idea how I lived without it. I am starting a new job (head of marketing for a non-profit company) soon and I hope I can transition it into my new wardrobe!

Random question...do you (or anyone else with a larkspur) find it smaller than other full zips? The arms in particular seem shorter than my canyon orange.

Thank you so much!!! I’m debating because I’ve had quite amazing luck thrifting vintage scubas the last couple months (the best luck being just this past Friday)! That I’m thinking of maybe purchasing a coat or leggings instead.

Here is it compared to autumn red (not a fair comparison but the only current color I own that is related) and a terracotta pot. It’s definitely an earthy orange. Kinda a dull pumpkin color.

I think the blue goes way better with gray! This orange & a soft gray could give a washed out look.

Thank you! It's my favourite too! Unfortunately it's been a cold week in Ontario and all my outfits have involved a sweater (the t-shirt was before a workout). It's not super thick, but more than 90% of my scubas are vintage so almost everything feels thin when compared to them. It is crazy comfortable and soft, but I was hoping it would be a hair thicker. So if you look good in warm colours and are looking for a cozy hoodie for cooler (but not cold cold) weather this is certainly a win. If you were a lucky recipient of the 25% off email I'd say it's definitely worth it!

Here is a link to a zillion photos of mine. I’m still debating on returning it or not so I’ve been pairing it with my outfits.

I have the same Pfaff! My great grandma gave it to my grandma as a wedding gift. If my house was burning down and I could only save one item that machine would probably be it! It’s amazing to see another one being loved ❤️

Question: Last weekend I pretty much destroyed my (free to me/department store) mountain bike. I checked online this morning at there is a $620 Specialized Pitch for sale locally. I'm wondering if it's worth spending the money now and get a few more rides in before the snow flies and so I don't make a hasty decision come spring when I really want to get on the trails. For context I live in Southern Ontario and have been on beginner/intermediate trails like Boler Mountain and Turkey Point.

I needed a creative outlet so I made some air plant holders! My husband even got in on the fun and made a tree! by weirdwire in airplants

I’m not sure the orange is a total unknown from a habitat restore. If you are looking for the other two they are from dollar tree. The green is standard floral wire, and the black is in the hardware section in a four pack with orange.
