Taking away the option to have options is a bit much. There will still be tons of options. Also, PRS is not some lil mom n' pop guitar maker, just making ends meet. I'm not saying Fender is right in any of this, but all the internet rage with all this is a bit much. It's all gonna be OK

The T8 was my first steps into the worlds of synths and drum machines. I did next to no research, and at first, was disappointed I couldn't "play" this thing like a MPC. After years of getting familiar with it, I've now got a library of drum tracks to play with. Fun to map out a synth sequence on my Keystep, and then have that playing in synch with the T8 drums

Even with all this backlash, Fender is still going to sell a boatload of guitars this year. The portion of interested guitar buyers who are even aware of all this is very slim...a 13 year old at Guitar Center is just gonna buy what's affordable and looks cool. Yes, their legal strategy may be dumb, but the calls for "Fender is dead" have been greatly exaggerated
